Wickedness Beyond Belief!

A business woman, Mercy Segun, 42, was on Wednesday arraigned at a Karmo Grade 1 Area Court in Abuja for allegedly beating her daughter and pouring pepper into her privates..

Segun, who resides at Idu Gbagyi, Karmo, is facing a three-count charge of criminal force, assault and causing hurt to a minor.

The Prosecutor, Mrs Florence Auhioboh, told court that the defendant’s neighbour, one Gift Afegua, reported the matter at the Karmo Police Station on Aug. 22.

She alleged that Segun, knowing her daughter to be a minor, ill-treated her by pouring ground pepper into the girl’s privates
.
Auhioboh told the court that the defendant’s action caused the minor serious pain.

The prosecutor said that the offences contravened Sections 246, 265 and 238 and of the Penal Code.
The defendant, however, denied the charges.
The Judge, Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq, granted Segun bail in the sum of N30, 000 with a surety in like sum.
He ordered that the surety must reside within the court’s jurisdiction and adjourned the case until Sept. 25 for hearing.

    2. Doing it doesn't mean it's right. It is extremely cruel thing to do to an adult not to talk of a child. Their is madness in Nigeria that hasn't been addressed yet.

  10. Anon 9:28, that was a scornful comment. ok! Your mum did the same or even worse things to your sister, she still ended with unwanted pregnancy. Having sex early is more of the psychology, if she wasn't introduced to it early, she wouldn't know anything about it. With early sex education you can prevent your sister's case happening to a girl child.

  14. Wicked is what you call the daughter! Her Mum is a business woman, perhaps a pepper grinder and she's there probably whoring around. In my own opinion the mother should be given the liberty to do whatever it is to this daughter of hers, the judge understands very well that's why he'd asking her to pay just that amount, bcos in her own way she's telling the daughter to desist from whatever it is that'd spoil her future;come and see young girls carrying belle upandan. They can be stubborn

    1. So madam pouring the pepper will solve the issue in your own opinion? Educated person spewing trash like an illiterate. What happened to sex education!!! Take it from me that mist parents gave failed in giving proper sex education to their children. Also the child might have been abused as well. So since we don't know the reason for her action I will blame the mother

  16. It was only illiterate parents who did it. What sort of dangerous punishment is this? Who did it reprimand? NONE. Nigerian mothers can be lazy with parenting. All is shout, beat and use life altering methods of punishment.

    2. God bless you dear. Parenting is sadly lacking in most homes. All they do is hussle for money and forget the grooming of the children for proper behaviour

  17. OK now..pepper in pussy signifies promiscuity..some parents do this
How old is the said girl?

Sometimes it works as a deterrent to teenage sex, sometimes it doesn't..

Some parents even strip the girls naked or cut them and put pepper into their wounds..
    All these disciplinarians ehnn...
