I keep saying love doesn't sustain marriage 100%, sometimes it's in the heat of the emotions we decided to marry and when the honeymoon is over, you realise both of you ain't compatible.
      I'm sad sha

Chris once again wished her hbd with the sweetest words one can ever thing of, and Dami commented " come I want to show you something". So what happened within the space of 4months? Is it that the woke up one morning and decided not to be together again? I dont understand. So all these pda on ig shouldn't be taken serious or what?? Mmmmm

    1. Susu and bubu also, I sincerely don't like the social media thing.
Banky and Adesuwa, ayam really praying for Gods wisdom for them
I have been married for 11years and I can say marriage isn't easy but its sweet with God and challenges start rolling in with the stress you go through when you have children, but I don't understand what's happening in Nigeria. At least for those of us abroad, we don't have anyone to help with childcare like they do in Nigeria, uve got housemaids, drivers, cooks, grandmas, uncles, aunties "family" to drop the children with over the weekend so I dint really understand why people can't make their marriages work.
May God help all married couples, this separation and divorce thing is really becoming a norm; its so rampant.
Marriage is all about endurance, loving each other even when you hate that person, praying together always, God " JESUS" has to be first etc.
      It is well.

    1. Why does it discourage u from marriage !? Listen y'all really need to stop comparing your marriages or relationships to that of celebrities! There are very good examples of marriages that work perfectly fine, look up to those ones! Just because all these blogs only focus on failed marriages doesn't mean all marriages are not working. There are a lot marriages that still work and succeed really well. Focus your mind and attention on that and not on these 'mirages'. And yes The devil is working overtime to make it seem that 'marriage' is not working today. BUT this institution is very important in the eyes of God. Ladies and Gentlemen, don't be decieved Marriage is a good and very sweet thing.

    2. Don't let it discourage you.
Don't ever use anybody's marriage as a yardstick to measure yours or it's possible outcome.

That there are lots of marriages crashing out there doesn't mean yours would.
There are so many marriages standing tall and overcoming temptations leading to a crash.
It's not like the couples in such marriages don't have their own misunderstanding or issues, they do.
But the grace to know how to resolve amicably, holding in place respect and love for one another while at it is what makes that union sail through effortlessly.

These days, married couples are no longer ready to compromise nor understand one another's needs. They are not ready to find a common ground on issues.
The woman's hot 'headedness' won't let her. The man's ego won't let him.
      What follows? Divorce.

Ask God for his grace upon your union, while you and your spouse make constant effort to hold it tall forever...and a day.

    3. Discourage you ke? Av been married now for 11years, there's nothing that comes easy, you both have to work it out.
Marriage has its up and down but any marriage built on CHRIST is sweet.

  11. I think she is angry cos he revealed to the public. This kind of stuff happens when you are living your life pretentiously. They always want to portray all is well and very happy meanwhile they are far from that. The sooner people realise they are not just doing weddings to pepperdem but the real deal comes after the wedding the better for us all. They will get around it. Right now its more of bitterness, anger, shame and embarrassment. But who cares, she should rise above it all and move on. Next thing you will hear is guy man don marry from his country. Watch out.

  14. Marriage is not about the razzmatazz. With a lot of mutual work and selflessness, you'll weather the storms and last till death do you part.
Nowadays, the selfishness is just too much.

    2. Yes oh because many people r no longer suffering & smiling (pretending happiness) in nigerian marriages.

Better be shamed or stigmatized than die "mysterious cancer" death while being married to an "enemy" husband or wife!

Nothing kills more spiritually & physically than the alienation of affection from a supposedly loved one. Like loving or staying together with somebody who is doing the opposite things to what u want, need or like.
Sooner or later that incompatibility will drain the soul, spirit or body badly.

Better be single & thriving, successful, happy, healthy & content with your life than be married & suffering.

  18. Marriage is now seen as sth else esp bwtn dis celebrities. na wa. if u r not compatible at the first place, then why marry? pple shud stop abusing the word 'Marriage'.. haba. They do not even consider the kids they bring into this world and the psycholoical trauma the child would go thru?

  21. I don't know what went on with them, but I have a feeling money was part of their issue. It is hard to remain humble and hopeful in God when everyone is on social media showing off their seemingly fab lives. Also, finances should be fully disclosed including debt before any entry into marriage. Don't lie to yourself, if you know a comfortable life is important to you and you have no desire to rough it, then don't settle for less. Wish them well, unfortunate they brought an innocent life into their mess.

    1. Yes money is a big factor obviously with this marriage break up case.
Apparently she never knew that it's not all abroad citizens or people from abroad that have the money for a plane ticket or have the stability & financial means to good quality of life indeed. U see many naija & black people working & slaving like jackass & their marriages or intimate life is also hell & toture. To afford the least fun things is like dream to them! They live in bad houses, rough neighborhoods, work 27 hours & 7 days a week as slaves. And yet they don't see their lives as miserable or pathetic.
Sorry for any desperate girl or woman who end up in that kind of life just because of "marriage"
I don't blame Dami to run for dear life & seek for happiness elsewhere rather than die in poverty being married to fine young man!
      Tufiakwa!!!
Better then be the 20th wife of Dangote than to be the 1st wife of this Ghana boy.

  22. Ummnh, better to be honest and move on. Chris would never have been able to maintain Dami. What does he have to meet with her standards? Expectations are too high nowadays in most marriages, babes don't have patience to make it work. With experience, u should know that the first few years can be turbulent with 2 strangers coming together with their preference and prejudice but must come to a compromise and let go for better understanding. Debi Ramsey Noah, Desmond Elliot, Julius Agwu, Omotola, Omoni et al are all married? Don't they have issues?? Are they divorced? These girls too get long throat jare

  23. I liked chris better with his half cast ex... they were always together back in the days.... and loved each other deeply.... i really do not know wat he was looking for in dami but it looks like he has a dark side... its a pity this didnt work out regardless... ghana nigeria combo is usually a recipe for disaster though... best of lucks dami.. eventually u be alright
