  1. I'm not surprised you didn't enable my comment. Very predictable. Why bring it to the blog then since it only happened on the whatsapp forum. You'd have left it at that instead of keeping people wondering.
Well it's your blog, you know how best to run it. It doesn't stop me from visiting or loving you.

  8. Yup! Very correct.
I remember when I was younger. One Morning my dad woke my younger sister and I and said this same thing 'oil in our lamp'. How a woman must have oil in her lamp. He talked extensively and prayed for us to have oil in our lamp. Not just pretty and/or prayerful. That the oil is what will make you stand out among foolish virgins (i was a fargin at the time 😂) and not miss your bridegroom. This was over 10 years ago aha. But i never forgot that 6am speech.

However, abeg let people marry rich or poor or struggling as it pleases them.
In my case- When my mum met my dad, he was from a rich background and she was just starting tetiary education. Her late dad had 11 children and had just retired. My mum is the first born so you can imagine the responsibility on her. Marrying a rich boy helped her help her family. The house her late dad lived in before he passed the land and structure was built by my dad - and later finished and furnished by her brothers when they stood on their own feet. The first car they drive as a young couple was given by my granddad, My mum also went to uni as a married woman while my dad was a working graduate. But you will never hear this story of we don't tell you. What is my point? God sends some people rich husbands to support them and theirs. But the message of 'dont marry rich' can make someone miss her blessing and just wallow in circles or unnecessary struggle and poverty. God is the distributor of wealth and if he chooses to bless you with a genuinely rich hardworking man, don't ignore because you 'dont want him to insult you tommorow'. There are poor men who have insulted their wives who built with them. Let's leave this Nigerian movie mentality. The bottom line is CHARACTER, MENTALITY, VALUES and FEAR OF GOD. Don't be fearing rich boys. Most of them are even nicer and more humble than some riff-raffs.

  20. Also when you marry a rich man, what is your first instinct? To sit and chop and relax And go on vacation and wear gold and boast to your friends that your better off? Or to actually ground the money on every side?
The problem with many 'i was rich before' couples is LACK OF PLANNING. Especially on the part of the women. Instead of going to Ivy league school to do masters and waiting for good jobs to supplement their husbands business/ income. Or starting solid busiensses or encouraging them to invest, we want to chop and chill

  21. Really, Rocky? Coming from one who can't tell the difference between "have" and "has"? Ha! Aiye le o ibosi ooo.

Baby girl, go learn the usage of have and has before correcting anyone you silly child.

@chi exotic: baby girl, I always love to read your stories and all but lately, it's been riddled with many "am" in place of "I'm". Can't we all just learn to tell the difference? I tire for una on this blog o. Everywhere you turn to, you see am for I'm, been for being, have for has etc even from the so called learned people!
    Make it stop, please!

  36. IHN rock

These days, I barely even have time to dish out the daily dosage of drama though most of you have been on your best behavior or is it just me. Or is this that time of the year where I start screaming into every ear that I have turned a new leaf. Let me quickly check my calendar and I will be right back.

    Okay, I am back
I see everyone is now a beauty queen and model? Is that part of Sdk blog culture (Pipi Lee, thanks for letting me use that word) . Our ancestors said if lizard does not praise itself, who will praise it (Mind you, I might be wrong with this adage so I modified it). Well-done to all the beauty queens who never contested for any beauty pageant... you people are the real MVP.

I really think the picture showcase for this year Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria is poor. Most of them are not facially gorgeous or could it be the angles of the pictures? I know some people are not photogenic that's why they need to get their angles well. I can't really vote based on facial pictures, I would need the total package. Legs, face, brains and shape.

    #No drama from my end

I have an M&E plan to review so back to work.

Bye beautiful people and ensure your heart is as beautiful as your comment.

    Blowing kisses to Xp.
