  4. This is so sad. We are too careless in this country. We ignore some basic things and they backfire. No proper drainages, buildings are built haphazardly without any respect to town planning regulations, we don't properly dispose of our non biodegradable wastes such as tin cans, tyres, plastic bottles and pure water sachets. These things cause flooding when it rains. I've got a friend in makurdi and her number isn't going through. I'm so scared. God please keep them safe.

    1. Sweetie, it's not just about town planning and lack of proper drainages. Its because of the rapid reductions of the glaciers, causing a global warming and increase in Earth's water levels.

Look at Houston for instance. They have the best drainages ever yet they are trapped in floods. What about Sierra Leone and even India?

My house in Port Harcourt is currently submerged in water.

If God doesn't intervene, we are all doomed.

      Happy new month Miss Kenefo.xoxo

Forget drainage, this is end time, I know many will say all these things have been happening before...Yes!! But it's worst now. Every body make your way straight with your maker. The end is here.

    4. Anon Happy new month dear. I feel very bad about your house. May God help you through this trying period.

You've said a lot of wise words. Very wise words. I understand that global warming causes a rise in sea levels but let's not forget that global warming is very much caused by human activities. I feel most natural disasters in Nigeria are worsened by our previous nonchalance. See the Lagos floods. Absolute negligence caused all that damage to property. Very disheartening. If you dig deeper most of the areas affected in lagos especially on the island were areas that were sandfilled.

On God's intervention somehow He always pulls through for us especially in Nigeria. The ebola outbreak that was miraculously curbed was simply God's grace.

Again I am sorry to hear about your house. Do have a lovely holiday dear.

Really sad. Looks like the river flooded its banks and those who built in the low lying areas nearby got the worst of it. Nature can be crazy and more so the end time prophecies recorded in Matthew chapter 24 coming to pass one after the other...but we too can be blamed in some cases, starting with government that doesn't supervise building and doesn't provide proper amenities to limit natures vagrant ways and then individuals who also fail to plan and start screaming God and government when disaster strikes. Even so called developed Texas is partly under water! I recall the flooding in Germany several years ago too.

God help the victims. Buhari ordered immediate help, what does that mean?? NEMA? who obeys that order and to what extent? I should register with Red Cross already, I keep putting it off.
