ReplyDeleteStella pls oo. help me voice out. we port Harcourt residents are been extorted by d pple engaged by federal govt to install electricity meter for us. imagine we r been asked to pay money for work done.
first dey said b4 we get light we must pay for installation which we paid six thousand. this six thousand is for every door post oh i.e. individually.
we are been ask to pay additional three thousand naira. with our eyes rolling we asked for what? they said is to send d meter down to our houses since it was placed outside close to the gate.
Stella this is after we have paid them six thousand naira and they initially said the meters will not be installed inside bcos dey will be inspected. only for them to turn around n ask we pay another three thousand to fix it inside.
please help me ask Rivers State Govt, Federal Govt if dis is how they intend to extort port Harcourt residents and if they are aware of this money been demanded by their contractors or employees.
Is this the change they promised us. all dis money they asked is not inclusive of the electricity bill as we r still asked to go and activate the card which is another cost.
someone pls send to appropriate authority. corrupt practices must be dealt with.
