  2. Wow! Big congrats. Your mama will be proud of you.
Off topic...i noticed that most intelligent and enlightened and possibly ladies who have access to luxurious living don't bleach their skin. They maintain their melanin complexion. Case study from different sources. Nice one there.

    1. That's not true .. I sell lightening and whitening products and my consumers are actually the high end luxury women who live in places like banana island, vgc and other posh areas. If you sell creams you will know. That's if you sell top quality priests and not the regular 15000 naira for 5 items in a set kind of people. My set of 8 items go for 100k, which is my minimum fee. I have alot higher than that. So you see, my products are directed at a certain group of people who are those you talked about.

  4. Congrats to her! Stella I think it's shared.

It's very important to put intelligent children in the right environment to give the right opportunities to shine. I know very talented artists in Nigeria who are by the roadside. The other day I looked at a painting I bought in Uni. I hung it in my room and packed it back to Lagos when I graduated. I was surprised my mum still hung it conspicuously at home. Very beautifully illustrated on canvas, and a lovely wooden 16 by 20" frame. In most parts of the world that thing would have sold for much much more. But, I got it for just 7k about 9 years ago - about $45 at the time. I started thinking of how much we underpay talented artist in Nigeria and Africa as a whole. Cos that guy might not even remember that paint job when he sees it.

Yet.....See how they are being encouraged in other parts of the world.

  8. You're right @ Chikito. Talent and the right environment brings out the ingenuity in a child. Most peole (particularly in sub-Saharan Africa) choke on their talents because of the absence of an enabling environment.
Congrats to her. That price is huge.
