Eiffel Tower Lights Put Out To Honour Las Vegas Strip Victims And Marseille

The Eiffel Tower went dark overnight to pay homage to the victims of two tragedies: the mass shooting in Las Vegas that left 59 people dead and more than 500 injured and the weekend knife attack in the French port city of Marseille.

Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo had tweeted Monday that "Tonight we turn off the lights of the Eiffel Tower at midnight (6 p.m. ET)" to honor the victims of the two attacks, continuing a practice of bowing in respect to victims of horror by darkening the glittering monument that crowns the City of Light.

  1. May the souls of the departed rest in perfect peace.

  2. Heeyah, may the soul of the faithful departed find rest in the Lord.

  3. So many sick people in Yankee abeg. The 64 year old muderer was rich, he was gambling a lot, spending about $10K each week. Up till now , authorities are still searching for the motive. Why he did what he did. How he bought all those guns that have the capacity of multiple magazines without someone raising alarm or be suspicious. .
May be na principality, next to lucifer.

We are in the 'ember' months where eaters of flesh & drinkers of blood are hungry & thirsty. God almighty hprotect us, in Jesus name, amin.

  4. So sad, may their souls RIP
