End Time Doctor Sued By Husband Of TTC Woman Whose Intestines He Damaged

After 5 years of marriage, Mr. Isaac and his wife, Victoria (both pictured), began a search for the fruit of the womb, but got their situation worsened by a surgeon in Abuja.

According to DailySun, Victoria, 29, who walked into NIQUAD Clinics, at Orozo, with both her ovarian and fallopian tubes intact, has lost all after passing through the knife of Dr. Empson Nwarigon, the hospital’s Chief Medical Director (CMD).

Mr. Isaac, led by his lawyer, Hameed Jimoh, narrated the ordeals of his wife in a 73-paragraphs affidavit he deposed to before the Commissioner of oaths, FCT High Court, Abuja, pursuant to the requirements by the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN). .

He wrote “The Doctor carried out surgery on my wife and in the process, negligently cut my wife’s small intestine organ and tied it with threads in several places and since then, she can no longer defecate.

That around the end of July, 2017, we met Dr. Nwarigon who asked me to take my wife for scanning for diagnosis, which I did on.

That the scan result discovered that my wife has “Left Mucinous Ovarian Cyst” and it suggested ‘HSG for further evaluation’, but that the CMD asked my wife to undergo surgery in order to remove it.

That my wife and I were never informed by the CMD or signed any document about the implications of the surgery.” .

The surgery was carried out on August 7, 2017, and the wife could not defecate afterwards. He stated that on August 12, 2017, Dr. Nwarigon gave him a referral letter to Maitama General Hospital.

He added that: “During surgery at Maitama General Hospital, I was invited into the theatre room to witness the errors committed on my wife by Dr. Nwarigon.

I was shocked to see that my wife’s small intestine has been negligently severed by Dr. Nwarigon and was tied in different places with threads, which the doctors had to loosen in order to carry out a successful surgery.

The most surprising thing is that he never told us anything.” All effort to reach Dr. Nwarigon on the issue, failed. He was said to be indisposed for the past two weeks.

Heres what happened to me yesterday, after cleaning decided to take my drugs and sleep for awhile, i bought the drugs on Friday took one that night and was about taking that of yesterday when i noticed the drugs expiry date is 10/17 ha my mood changed called my doctor he said i can return the drug and the one i took wont have negative effect, my neighbors around some said its not yet expired till month end. I said all na una own as u seeme so i dont mind the stress. Can imagine from byepass sapele road back to ugbowo. Most pharmacy dont have the drugs thats why i went that far.
got there the guy tried convincing me to continue with the drugs that it will expire month end. That was when i sparked, demanded for their bosses no, he tried calling the boss, boss wasn't picking, i got the no, dialled on my phone the boss took and after explaining he asked them to return my money only for the sale boy to try convincing the boss on phone to allow me complete the drugs and it wont ve any effect. I dragged my phone back made sure i created a scene asking him why they will have expired drugs on their shelf. That was whne they started begging me to calm down and they returned my money..
Even if it has an effect in me or not why stock expired goods on a shelf for sale.not nice at all. The guy wont forget the embarrassment he received yesterday.

So this quack also hold the lofty title of Chief Medical Director. Like anything else, there are those who mastered the coursework and those who just passed with the minimum requirement. Please pray that every doctor you come in contact with has mastered medical school.

I feel bad for the poor lady, not being able to pass your waste has got to be extremely painful. Hope she find herself in the care of an excellent doctor and can be fully healed. God, please take over her case.

Anonymous 10:40, i beg you in God's name, report that store to NAFDAC. i hope you still have the drug's pack with you? even if you don't, i'm sure they'll still have the drugs on their shelves. Contact NAFDAC about this as soon as u can, you'd be saving a lot of lives...

The pharmacy guy was right, you could have continued taking the drug, most drugs are still effective up to two years past their expiration date. I have taken expired painkillers and still had good effect, expired cold medicine, even expired antibiotics, but that's me, not saying anybody else should do as I do. I don't mess with expired food though, especially canned food, the fear of botulism is real.

The expiry date said 10/17 which means that the drugs were usable till the end of the month.

Anonymous said...

The expiry date is 10/17. That means that those drugs can be used until the end of October. If that same batch is still being dispensed by November,
then there's a case against them. NAFDAC will tell you the same thing.

The struggle and pain of TTC couple, it is easily the most exploitable issue in Nigeria today. May God help us.

Lol @ 11.14. If the drug expiry date stated 10/17 that means it can be used until the 31st of oct , what exactly was your problem or are you not educated?

So what should we do? Has October ended? Abeg shift.

Anonymous said...

This is true. Expired drugs are usable for up to 2 months afterwards. I don't know about two years.
I no send anybody to take expired drugs.

11:14 your present and generation to come just bought a new name a debt you will never be able to pay. Next time you don't throw insult on just anyone! The educated one i wasnt comfortable thats why i returned it, not everyone will take an expired product its called choice.
