Wedding Souvenirs......

Most people attend Weddings because of the Souvenirs shared out to guest......
Sometimes these gifts depends on the price of the aso-ebi and the financial strength of the hosts.....

What is the most expensive Souvenir you ever got from a wedding?
What would be your reaction if you go to a wedding and you did not get any or none was given?

Gone are the days when plastic was shared out in weddings..Infact it has been out phased by other better things....I have heard of a wedding where wads of dollars was part of the Souvenir........

  8. I realy would never be upset if I don't get souvenir. I even most times.forget bout it.

My most useful souvenirs has got to be Weighing scale, then a flatner.
Cant speak.of expensive cos I really dont know.the prices of these things.

I like the camp gas idea oh, but it feels just expensive. Why spend so much when guests should be the.one.gifting you.

I dont support the asoebi idea. Makes it look like its business.

Went for a wedding, the dignitaries were gifted flat screen TV. This was in 2012 when it was still expensive. Well. Most of those people can afford it and most likely already have it so..whats the use.

In my time, I hope to consider giving what can be utilized (eg, hair dryer etc) over price.

Oh, ive gotten a dinner set before. That should be the most expensive I guess. A complete flamboyant set

  11. My most expensive souvenir iv ever collected is smoothie maker. I'm yet to even use it, its still in the box.
And there wasn't even aso-ebi, just 10k head tie.
My mum has collected table top cooker with 2 burners, but the aso-ebi was like 60k which my mum said cant pass 30k in Lagos market. And this was years ago when 60k was like 100k.
Trust my Yoruba peeps especially lagos island people. You will come back with washing up liquid, sugar, milk, tray, even sardine and Maggi, custard, milo etc. full breakfast.
A souvenir I really like was my friends wedding. She gave a make up bag. Inside was lip gloss, eye-liner, mascara, nail polish, white powder etc and quality ones.
