Governor Masari Launches Goat Empowerment Programme For Katsina Students.

The Katsina State governor, Aminu Masari, has launched goat empowerment programme for secondary school students in the state. 




Launching the programme at Government Girls Arabic Secondary School, Dutsinma on Saturday, the state commissioner for Education, Halimatu Idris, said the programme was aimed at empowering students to be self-reliant.
Mrs Idris, a professor, said the goat empowerment programme was part of the Masari administration’s efforts toward improving the lives of the people and development of education in the state Daily Nigerian concluded.

      Oh, you missed the governor that empowered me sayi (indomie and eggs and bread and tea vendors) with over 200M? Apparently we've been wasting our time with higher education! Just go up north, wear the traditional garb, and get a hefty "grant" to sell roadside tea and bread and egg and noodles or to become a goat herd. Chikena, the Nigerian dream!
