Meeting Point 68

Sometimes you can met that special person in the least expected place....

Good day Stella.
Is been two months of friendship, companionship, prayer partner and gist partner with Boo.

I was in a relationship of 2 years with a guy I was madly in love with, he was not serious with me. I was always sad, depressed and crying. So I broke things off in August this year.

I met boo early May, he works in a bank, I went to get my sister's PTA draft, he was speaking one gibberish about opening an account, I just wasn't feeling it and I walked away.

One week later, he came to the Pharmacy I worked and wanted drugs and there and then we exchanged numbers, but I immediately kept my distance because I was dating and he kept calling and coming to visit but i was ignoring him and always hiding(in my mind forming faithful girlfriend). Fast forward to September, we reconnected again and since then, I have known nothing aside from happiness and peace of mind.

My Ex is begging me but I am in a good place. I still get scared though because he is having issues with work(which we are seriously praying for) and fear of the future. Am a STAUNCH CATHOLIC and he is a Pentecostal. I wonder what the future holds for us. Will my parents accept him? Will his parents accept me? Because I would love to settle down with him.

PS: Pls say a prayer for us. I like the way he allows me be me. Treats me like a jewel and is super proud of my little achievements.
Thank you Stella.

*Good to know that you are in a good place.I pray that it works out for you both.
As for that your ex,that is how they are oh,the minute you move on and have peace of mind, they come back begging....Dont even think about going back.

    1. Likewise my friend converted her catholic husband to start attending Pentecostal church. My take; I am a proud catholic and I will bring my kids to embrace their denomination.

  9. Good luck my dear. Some of us don't know how to live without worrying but take it from a sister who has learnt the hard way. Love without worrying. Even if it turns out bad, you have good, pure and genuine moments to remember. Next time love comes my way I intend to be happy and not stressed about what will be or what won't. I just hope the person won't be stressed as well. Let's just love and get old happy

  11. I thought meeting place stories were for married people. As in the people their relationship beat all hurdles to make it to marriage.

Anyways, what do I know??? I'm just a bitter ikorodu teacher

  14. You started dating this guy barely 2months ago and you are already thinking of marriage. You think he is perfect and better than your ex....wait until you know him better. He might turn our to be a very good person and the one for you but I think you are being too jumpy.

  15. Is 2months of dating even a relationship proper yet.
Pls cool is down for all this future talk you are sharing. You still seem young, give it time. Nothing wrong in praying about your relationship but take it easy with the marriage planning.
ps; PLS I prefer meeting point of married folks, no pun intended. Meeting points ppl can learn a thing or two from. How they sailed through relationship and then marriage.
    GOOD LUCK

  20. You people making noise about poster posting her meeting point after two months, is it a crime? Life is meant to be enjoyed each day that we live. Nothing in the future is guaranteed. For now she is enjoying her relationship. Why shouldn't she be happy and celebrate the meeting? She asked to be prayed for mbano, na to condemn. If the story changes it changes, but for now her story is sweet.
Also I think meeting points for relationships or friendships that went south can be shared. Who knows we might learn a thing or two.
