    1. These "Nigerian celebrities" should keep their disdain to themselves!
They are all ranting on twitter but the moment you call for a civil
protest for the slavery that goes on in Nigeria, they all run away (except Charley boy)
Where were they when the fulani herdsmen were butchering in Enugu and down south?
Where were they when Boko Haram were butchering, kidnapping and entering Sambisa?
Where were they when 50 million dollars were being stashed in apartments in lagos and the FG told us they "don't know the owners?
How about the looting and raping of our collective wealth in broad daylight?
Didn't these folks go to Libya because of these looting?
Where were they during the southern Kaduna massacre?
Where were they during the church massacre at Nnewi, the kidnappings in the East and Lagos etc?

All they do is for people to see; selfish cowards!

  8. What is all this cry and pretends? #smh
Do you know how long this practices have been going on, let's come home to nigeria human trafficking. These pple are gotten through pretense, lies told to their parents and guardian about a better life outside nigeria. They recruit the girls through a cartel, take them through cotonu, made to spend some time in hotels where they make money that will transport them to Libya, from Libya to Europe. Now the journey is to bad that if you hear the story from firsthand you will weep for them.
If 50 girls are recruited, 10-12 may survive and others wil die on the journey. Not to mention the inhumane treatment.
The cartel incharge of these barbaric act starts from our local police who turn their eyes from the girl camps that are paraded as hotel in differentpart of Nigeria, to the custom officers that aid the illegal movement and grant them access to Nigerian border,to Nigerian embassies in all these countries where this illegal activities are carried out, sometimes when these girls escape they run to our embassies to lodge complaints, rather that crackdown on the cartels, they turn the other side and shield them just because huge amount of money is involved.

I don't blame the Libyans and the Arabs for these treatment, an American will not seek refuge in another country because his place is good.if our country is well taken care of, citizens are considered, employment to a certain level, health, food and shelter in good conditions pple will not run away from subsaharan African insearch of greener pasture.

This inhumane practices is the upshoot of the wickedness, stealing, corrupt practices of our leaders who are only interested in their stomach and personal interest.
Shame on African leaders, shame on the pple who covers the truth becuse of little gain, shame on everyone who has benefitted from this evil act. God will judge them.

  9. These stories have haunted me for weeks.. If CNN crew didn't blow this up.. We might never know how bad things are over there.
Just heard this boy that disappeared from his place of work for sometime now died on their way to Europe.
His friends called the boy’s mother.
I’m glad international stars are also creating awareness.

  14. Hmmmm.....this really caught me....our Leaders should make the country a better place for for us, and not to be embezling our funds up and down.

  15. Let nobody tell me that Nigeria is better,I rather stay in Nigeria than going abroad.Nigeria is only considerable only for the rich.
A country where there's no security,No good road,You can't eat good three square meal a day,No health care, workers are not been paid there are no jobs for graduates whom their parents suffered to send to school.I visit Nig like twice every month and when I see most of them,I cry in my heart because nothing is working.we virtually force the kids every summer to come back and stay like for two months.we have the resources to make this great Nation a better place for all, let's not keep quiet while this country is getting worse by the day.

  16. THEY SHOULD USE THEIR SM HANDLES TO COUNCIL AND ADVICE PEOPLE TO DESIST FROM TRAVELING TO LIBYA ETC FOR GREENER PASTURES. SO MANY OF OUR YOUTHS ARE BEING ADAMANT, THINKING THAT THEIR LIFE WILL CHANGE FOR GOOD ONCE THEY TRAVEL TO/FROM LIBYA EN-ROUTE ITALY, SPAIN ETC. THEY ARE ALL VICTIMS TO SLAVE TRADE BCOS FROM THE VIDEO U CAN SEE THAT ONCE U (FROM WEST AFRICAN) ENTER THOSE ARAB COUNTRIES, U WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY SOLD AS A SLAVE FOR $700 OR LESS.

UNITED NATIONS SHOULD AS A MATTER OF URGENCY INVESTIGATE AND SEND TROOPS TO THESE PLACES TO CURB THIS UGLY SLAVE TRADE.

I DO NOT BLAME THE LIBYANS ONE BIT.THE HEART OF MAN IS NATURALLY DESPERATELY WICKED.THE PEOPLE THAT SHOULD BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE ARE OUR LEADERS.WHAT ARE THEY COMING BACK TO DO? THE GIRLS THAT GO TO PROSTITUTE YEARS BACK ARE STILL VICTIMS OF MODERN DAY SLAVERY.CIVIL SERVANTS IN NIGERIA THAT ARE NOT PAID THEIR SALARIES ARE VICTIMS OF SLAVERIES TO OUR LEADERS.PENSIONERS THAT SLUMP AND DIE ON THE DAILY WITHOUT RECEIVING THEIR RENUMERATIONS ARE ALSO VICTIMS. PERIOD.PROVIDE BASIC AMENITIES AND DO THINGS THE RIGHT WAY,THAT'S THE WAY TO FIGHT MODERN DAY SLAVERY

  19. I have always heard about human trafficking and slavery, seen some live feeds on CNN, but these new revelations are shocking, the torture, auctioning and killings are appalling, its sad that it took Chris Brown's tweet to bring all our Nigerian celebs and ambassadors to its awareness. The government should step up and do the necessary. Gosh!

  21. Unfortunately as glad as I am that the celebrities are waking up now from their slumber but these atrocities has been happening for over 3 years now. Yet not one of them paid attention. While there was outcry all over from CNN to others Media houses. Even when people protesting throughout the streets in most European cities and some African countries as well. But once Chris Brown made an I'm put. The notice me celebrities became concerned. I just pray it is for real because the movement has started long before now. It is really sad that as African people we are more interested in othersthan our on plea. Well better later than never. I just wish that will actually use their influence to make an impact. Because it is so horrible what is happening there in Libya. Even worst the first perprators are Black people trapping and selling their own to the Arabs. It is so sad.
