Many prisoners have inundated Nigeria, asking to be transferred from Chinese prisons, but such transfers are impossible for now.
The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Mrs Abike Dabiri, said at the seminar on Nigeria-China relations in Abuja on Thursday that, “there is a lot of appeals and some prisoners say they want to move from one prison there to another, it is not going to happen”.
We have been talking to them but their law is their law. My appeal to Nigerians is to obey the laws of that country because it is getting tougher; they have sanctions and they follow through.”
Transfer of prisoners from China to Nigeria can only be possible if there is a signed treaty to the effect by the two countries. There is no treaty between the countries for prisoners’ transfer, when that exists the transfer of prisoners would be possible.

Na wa . It won't be possible cos they are mote of south extraction if they are mainly North they would have built world class prison, & do everything possible to extract them but as far as is mostly southerns they don't give a fucking damn

DeleteNorthern monopoly in govt, senseless & wicked policies that crumble bizness in country, the federal system that govt keeps power @ the central, the quota system of employment when a graduate from the south is jobless while a primary school holder certificate from the North has a federal job, while school fees in the south is so high that education is strictly for the rich kids while the north has free education& standby job after graduation.
ReplyDeleteWhen the North reject restructuring cos it Will prevent them to remain parasites on the resources of other pple while the rightful owners of the resources don't see even crumbs from table then resort in been fugitive in another man's country , mind you many of them are been set up by angry & jealousgirlfriend& neighbors of the host country, have seen a guy that a Chinese man that owe him sethim up just to die his Money. Let's restructure this country & watch it grow.
