RIOT IN ABUJA -Roads Blocked in Berger / Wuse Market Road

What happened?

Tax force and Vio carrying out operations shot a taxi man dead all because of wrong packing and because they were not given money. They also carried two other taxi drivers who challenged them away in their hilux truck. So taxi drivers are currently protesting and have blocked the roads..

According to eye witness report '' The Taxi Driver did nothing. They wanted money which he said he didn't have''.

  1. Yes! The traffic was terrible as people were turning against traffic to take some alternative roads. #FCTMinister and #CommissionerOfPoliceFCT take note...

    1. I was in this traffic and I'm glad they are not keeping quiet, why shoot? Even if he did something wrong, the law should take its course.
Trigger happy fools. They must not go scot free.

  5. So because of wrong parking, you shot and killed someone? What's Nigeria turning into. They claimed that they are fighting corruption but crime is now very high.

  7. What's all this rubbish with VIO
That's why they were stopped from leaving the office in Lagos.
Now a family has been thrown into mourning because of token.
Federal Government should do something about this rubbish agency.

  8. Got a call about 20 mins ago about this incident. There is traffic gridlock. The person is also looking for an opening to continue her activities and was asking how I'll get home. I told her they would have settled everything by then.
These law enforcers should not be wayward in handling their work. We've not recovered from the Mr Biggs incident now this! What kind of intoxication of power is that? How do you cock a gun at someone who has done no wrong to you? These people should be called to order.

  9. Dead? It's a lie! Dead? Cos of wrong parking? Even if he commuted am offence nko? Can't you at worst deflate his tyre? This is a valid protest but I pray it doesn't become worse than it ought to be. This uniform people ehn!.... thats why I avoid them or gently answer them even tho firmly. Many of them are frustrated and maybe on drugs.

So sad for the man's family
