Why are Nigerians like this, they take things too deep, abroad they have a who wore it better segment, it's not a crime, it is even used to make people try to be better, why do we have mentors or role models if we can't compare ourselves. She should please shut up, everything must be about hater or pulling down. Why can't we see things just as they are mtvhew

  7. People always wanna to live in denial. Comparison is part of life especially in the world of entertainment. These people like seeing hatred in every damn thing.Give them constructive criticism, they call you a hater, compare their outfits, you are a hater. contrast their outfit you are also a hater. Tell them they are fine, no comment will be returned. If you can't stand the heat, get the hell out of the kitchen .

  8. Mtcheeeew... waste of time, the human mind is designed that way, being that we're surrounded with variety.... its inevitable, & once its online, anything goes! It'd be dissected.

  9. Madam stella with all due respect, its wrong to compare celebrities. It makes them not to be true to themselves and also to their fans. It makes them to always try to outshine the others or at least equal to them and this makes most of them turn to prostitution cos we all know acting doesn't pay that much. It makes them live false lives cos they want to reach or mantain a certain standard we have set for them via comparism. This is not only applicable to celebrities but to us as individuals, especially parents. How can a parent aways compare her child to obi or ada? If that child is not strong enough , it will make him or her have low self esteem, while others can up their games (in terms of academics). I can remember when I was in primary school, my mom compared me to a classmate of mine that bought a wrist watch with her lunch money, my launch money isnt even enough for launch not to talk of saving, I resulted to stealing my mom's money to buy my own wrist watch so my mom could be proud of me. Of cos I bought the exact wrist watch the gal bought and my mom was proud of me. When she found out how I got the money for the wrist watch, it broke her heart and she never compared us to anyone ever again, rather she talked to us like a mother. What am I trying to say, most of these celebs dont have enough to feed themselves not to talk of buying cloths, but cos of what they will face(comparism) when they appear side by side with other celebs, they will start looking for sugar daddies they will sleep with to give them money and it continues. Most times we put this people under unnecessary pressure. As a celeb you shouldnt wear bathroom slippers, as a celeb you shouldn't be seen in one cloth twice, as a celeb you cant do this or that forgetting they are humans too. Have you asked her if she has eaten that day? Have you asked her if she has seen money to buy common sanitary pad? Yet you will tell her what she should and should not wear as a celeb. Lets stop this comparison abeg. I stand with Ufoma. And please I'm not a celeb.

    3. What are you even saying? Even parents compare (not that is right) teachers compare students, so what are you really saying? The oyinbos they are always trying to copy in the entertainment world, have a lot of shows showcasing comparisn.. why is there a fashion police? Do their mates abroad start going into prostitution when they are compared to others? Hell no, who ever wants to do ashawo wants to do it and cannot blame it on anyone. Why are competitions like ,best dressed' and "most beautiful girl in Nigeria" held since comparison is wrong? People always want to be writers or be seen as philosophers for no damn reason mtvhew

    4. Anonymous 13:28, I'm not Jacinta and you should go hug transformer. Atheist are you aware of the name you just mentioned? Everyone in this whole world knows Mark is a billionaire in dollars, so no one minds what he wears and what he doesnt wear. Tell me how many times Mark has been put up side by side with other rich people for comparison of outfit? Tell me. If bloggers and others starts comparing Mark's outfit to others, I tell you u will see a lil change in his wardrobe. We are humans and non of us loves to be compared to others not even you.

    6. You guys should stop mentioning abroad celebs. Do you know how much they are being paid for a movie? They have the money to spend, their hard earned money, so what ever they wear, they can afford and wont mind the comparison. How many foreign celeb have you read is dating a married millionaire to the extend of fighting dirty with his wife? Its not even the abroad celeb that will try harder next time, rather their designers. The highest paid nija celeb is paid 2m, how much does the others make for you to compare their outfits to others? If one wears what she can afford, na una go still use una mouth finish am, look at what a celeb is wearing. I can remember vividly a movie premier Nichole Banna attended wearing a yellow jumpsuit, bloggers started their usual comparison lifestyle, I know how many BVs that bashed Nichole for wearing what she could afford. Someone said it will make them work hard, how? When every tom dick and harry wants to be an actor, when the movie industry is becoming saturated, so you are either saying they should work hard by sleeping with producers or men for more money. Please let them live within their means. Too much of this comparison makes them want to always fake their lives. So if a celeb doesnt have a top notch dress to wear for a premier she should sit her ass down in her house, for what? You expect her to shy a way from the rest of the world for the fear of comparison and shouldn't manage what she can afford. Nawaooooo.

    7. Push up, fashion police doesn't compare their outfits, rather it points out who made a wrong choice in dressing with reasons and finally points out the best dressed with reasons too. They dont just line up 10 celebs and ask you to choose with no reason.

    8. Na dem wey wan be celeb. It comes with the terrain. If the kitchen is too hot, get out. Agreed, there's a lot of pressure going on but they shd also blame some of their colleagues in the industry who like to overdo, in a bid to feign success beyond what obtains in reality. Resorting to prostitution or other negative lifestyle to keep up, nevertheless, is the decision of a mind already set in that direction. Such ppl shdn't look for anybody to blame.
