    your age dsnt qualify u for presidential pardon.. ppl are on death row, life in prison, 250yrs jail time.. etc Law shldnt be be bent considerin age religion or status

    No 99yr old would look like this after spending 17yrs in a Nigerian prison.They carefully omitted his crime too.

    Anyway, whatever crime he committed, after 17yrs and being so near death's door, he has probably learnt valuable lessons. Prisons are congested.

    Nigerians must bring silly sentiments into everything. What people should be asking about is the crime he committed and if he was properly prosecuted in court. If he was sentenced to 70 years in prison by the year 2000, then they should leave him there.

    One should know the crime committed first......unless wrongly judged in the first instance he should remain there until he dies. Here, tombstone of prisoners that have not finished their term in prison are chained.
