The Police Service Commission (PSC) has approved the promotion and confirmation of acting appointments of 250 senior police officers.
A statement by the commission spokesman, Ikechukwu Ani, on Thursday in Abuja explained that the promotions had been forwarded to the Inspector-General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, for implementation in a letter signed by Mr. Musa Istifanus, the Permanent Secretary and Secretary to the PSC.
Chairman of the Commission, Sir, Mike Okiro, congratulated the newly promoted Officers and charged them to continue to discharge their duties with respect to the rule of law and fear of God.

ReplyDeletePolice force is just horrible.. It's all a case of man know man. How can they promote junior officers above their seniors?? Am in the know so I know what am saying. How can a ACP be promoted to commissioner when someone who has been a DCP for years is still there.tbis promotion isn't it at all but God dey... Not happy at all.
