Chronicle Of Blog Visitor Narrative

WOW...

STAND ALONE NARRATIVE

ABORTION IS NOT THE SOLUTION.
Hi Stellz,

 Compliments of the season.
I'm sending this as a form of encouragement for the chic who is the poster of Friday's chronicle, and also as a chronicle of hope(i think you should revive that post).

Anyway, here's the story:

Let me give you my own story... Not someone I know but me...

I got engaged to Le boo in may 2015 n we were planning a wedding for like Easter 2016.then 15/11/2016 I tested positive to a home Pregnancy test. I won't lie to u, I died and woke up, reasons being that my family is strict. Jesus! I'm not sure Ur parents are strict. Let me give you a summary of the family... I'm the last born of well educated parents and even grandparents.

Supposedly well brought up by parents who are church leaders and/ or pillars of society. My parents themselves are Ajebotas esp my dad, to the extent that we grew up speaking only English, we can't even speak our own language, so you can imagine what I mean when I talk of my family.

My dad had been in church Committees longer than I know, same as my mom and my dad is even the oldest and most respected member of his profession in the city where we lived. And to crown it all, I was the apple of my father's eyes, everyone could see that he loved me stupidly. He was strict, firm but he obviously loved his youngest daughter.

Back to my story then...

I died and woke up... Literally, because I knew my dad would begin to feel he'd had done something wrong, literally be depressed... I know him.

I called Le boo that night and told him the situation, and his exact words were: an abortion is out of it". I pleaded, cried, talked etc, but he refused and I couldn't bring myself to do it alone, and so I confided in my cousin, a guy, my "best friend /favourite cousin".

My mum came visiting the next weekend as I was already working so I lived alone, but I didn't tell her. So my cuz took the bull by the horn and came the morning she was supposed to leave, around 5am,and told her. I died again.

She on the other hand hugged me and told me that all would be well although my father would be mad like really mad, but it would work out for good.

In the months that followed my dad did disown me. He did. He hated me,hated my mum even for standing by me, and threatened that if he ever saw me he didn't know what he would do. He was rude and insulting to Le boos parents, relatives or anyone who brought my name up in his presence.

Me, I was tired of the whole thing mehn, I missed my dad and so, sometime in March last year, I told a friend of mine who is in the military -u know say dem get strong mind- that I wanted an abortion, and I needed a neat job, like it should just be a surgery because I had fibroid anyway so I had that excuse. And he told me to go think about it and get back to him with my decision... That he didn't support an abortion but it was my decision to make. He basically advised me not to go ahead but decide for myself.

Wonder of wonders, that week my dad sent word and said "if they still want to marry, let them marry"
Omo! I called my friend... Guy I no do dat one again o popci has agreed.

Na so we marry o. Small intimate ceremony but beautiful. Pop insisted that we won't do church but I was fine with that because I don't even like plenty ceremony anyway.

So we had our daughter sometime in July and mehn... She's the love of her grandparents life. There are other grand kids, I've seen grandpa love them and play with them, but kiss them? No. But he kisses my princess. He loves her.

Popci that disowned me and practically hated me loves me now, I'm his best friend again infact, you wouldn't even know we had such issues.

He visits the town I'm in, sleeps in my house... In fact ehn he was in town two days ago and even took us out for dinner in a very expensive restaurant all the bills on him, and almost didn't travel because he was spending time with his princess.

Please don't ever think about aborting your baby. You won't know the joy that child would bring to you tomorrow. My princess is the noisiest, funniest, happiest baby you could ever meet and I'm glad my friend told me to take my time to think about what I wanted to do.

I  hope my story has inspired you and maybe someone else.
Thanks Stellz God bless.

For God says, "At just the right time, I heard you. On the day of salvation, I helped you." Indeed, the "right time" is now. Today is the day of salvation. 2 Cor. 6:2

Always remember, you are not "anonymous" to God, he not only knows you, he made you.

    1. Poster if I had not put the fear of family and education before me I would have been a happy mother today. I made a mistake and paid with my womb. I live with it everyday. Pls, if you are careless and it happens, live with it. Help will always come.

  4. Ladies please if you do not have the resources, support and stability to take care of a child, please do the needful. Everybody's situation is not the same in anyway shape or form. Those that are so against abortion would not take care of that child for you. They would be the same ones to insult you and call you all sorts of names plus what quality of life would you be able to provide for the kid. If you can afford a child and you have support sure by all means have your baby but otherwise give yourself sense!!! I am happy for you post poster but not everybody should take your advise abeg

  5. If anyone takes a human life, that person's life will also be taken by human hands. For God made human beings in his own image.
    Gen. 9:6

I always remember this scripture whenever "abortion" is mentioned. You know why?

Seventeen years ago, I lost a friend's sister to this. She had several accidents/assassination attempts after abortion. God was giving him chances but he did not repent. Then one useless, meaningless thing killed her "throway".

  6. Your family are not educated, you have inferiority complex. Smfh@ We can't speak our own dialect. The most annoying thing is when bush Africans thinks not being able to speak their dialect is "cool". I like your message though. Say no to abortion.

    2. Don't mind them. Go to place like norway, Sweden, Switzerland, germany e.t.c if u don't speak their language u cannot work. They are so proud of thier language
Even have their native name. That is one of the reason I still like yorubas. Though I am not yoruba. Though not all of them but majority of them have thier native name and speak thier language.

Than what most of you do; costly wedding and living in sorrow and divorce

    3. A small quiet ceremony isn't necessarily cheap. It's just on a smaller scale. You can still buy your Vera Wang dress and Monolo Blaniks. Your platinum diamond encrusted rings from Tiffany. Your photographer can still cost an arm and a foot. Etc

And y should the child end up with such deformity? Mind u d poster wasn't testing drugs to undo the growing fetus.
Just don't understand how ur brain functions certainly not the normal way.
So u are here to propagate the act of abortion.
Please poster thanks for sending in ur story of hope.

    2. So why you kill babies is "so that they don't have down's syndrome?"
Why didn't your mom kill you to save you from having down's syndrome?
Or rather to save the world from a one woman murderous squad like you?
Don't you see that all your reasoning faculty is in that hole called your vagina?

  10. At poster, sex before marriage is a sin. Hope you didn't forget that?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Did she tell you she did not know that she committed a sin?
She avoided a mortal sin by not killing that baby.
If you make a mistake by fornicating and getting pregnant, do not
make a bigger mistake by killing the child. Whereas you can repent of both,
you can't bring back a dead child to life nor can you restore a useless womb
If I understand, that is what sdk blog has been teaching all these years!

  11. When people abroad are trying to speak their dialect, people in naija are forming posh, oriegwu.
From my understanding of this post, you were actually going to abort that child, but for your dad who came through with his decision. Now you are making it sound like you decided not to abort(it was stated here), so what are you on about? You are in no position to preach or encourage ho ha...because you know why.

Ps: poster of Friday or so, #SAYNOTOABORTION

  14. When your parents make you speak English and not bother with your native language, they have killed you. You are not foreign and not local. A bat is what you are, not “ajebutter” it’s a shame and that man that kisses your baby and not your siblings baby is fake. Fabouritisn among kids is a killer. That environment is very bad. Nigeria my country, when will things be good? We are fast losing our culture. In the name of “ajebutter”

  18. What kind of talk is this??? "we grew up speaking only English,we are ajebota,we don't even speak our language" ....shame on you poster,as if speaking only English is the ultimate,I just lost interest in your post reading that and didn't bother to go further reading.....see ehennn I'm from a reputable family and we are all learned, yeah we speak in English growing up cos of the environment we grew up in here in England but once we get back home on holidays in Nigeria we speak our native language, when I got married,I married from a different tribe from mine,I learn(still learning)my husband native dialect cos despite that my hubby was born here in Uk he speaks Urhobo language perfectly well,he teaches our children how to speak his language and I teach our children my own language as well, our children are always very fascinated about anything Nigeria, they get excited learning our languages, when people refer to them as carribean, they are always quick to correct them that they are British Africans from Lagos Nigeria. Our children will even go online to learn Nigerian languages more, and then they practice what they have learnt with me with so much joy on their faces.i speak Yoruba,Hausa,Urhobo,Igbo and a bit of Ebira language, yes I learn them all,I can even speak in ibadan or ilorin dialet when I wanna be funny.my point is speaking your local Nigeria language doesn't stop you from being an ajebota ok.We are proud to be Nigerians,Nigeria could have a reputation, but we can't change where we originate from.

  19. Very nice message. I hope the poster takes this advice, and she has so much already going on for her, she will be fine. As for the only English speaking part, i can relate, but that's an archaic mentality though, the ibos I met in the US were very enthusiastic to speak ibo to me, i felt really ashamed i couldn't communicate although i understand perfectly but i can't speak fluently. My cousin who relocated as kids speak even speak our local dialect not just central ibo. It's not something to be proud of or think equates to poshness anymore. Btw I enjoyed your write up, best regards.
