Former President Obasanjo Visits Late Wife's Family In Edo State

Former President, Olusegun Obasanjo recently paid a visit to the family of his late wife, Stella Obasanjo in Iruekpen, Edo state. 





The former president was received by the former first lady’s parents, her father, Christopher Abebe who is almost 100years and her mother, Theresa who is almost 90 and other family members.


Stella married to Obasanjo in 1976 and their Union produced a son Muyiwa. She Succumbed to complications arising from a tummy tuck on October 23rd 2005 in Malaga, Spain ..

    1. I think in the case of returning the corpse to her family, the tradition of the husband supercedes that of the woman.

      Stella Obasanjo was one fine, smart lady. I so much admired the grace with which she's carried herself.
      Even at comic shows, you never see her laughing without regard.

      It's such a pity she got carried away and refused to heed to professional advice against another lipoplasty.

    Maleke has turned politician, hmmm.It seems Obj was in Edo State for Chief Hosa's birthday and used that opportunity to see his inlaws.very thoughtful of him.
