He's not ignorant. Certain parts of the IVF process clearly violate some bible principles. If you don't believe in God/the bible, that's your choice. But for those who, & desire to please God, slow down, study the bible and ask for wisdom in all things.

Last last, its a matter of conscience, na between the person/couple and God.

  5. I somehow agree with him.... Is it not the most viable fertilized egg(s) that are put in the woman's womb and those that are likely to do well are discarded? What is the difference between discarding those that are not likely to implant/ survive and abortion or is it because it is done outside the womb? I won't see it as a sin anyways if only all the eggs that was collected from the woman is fertilized and put back rather than fertilizing the eggs then after that they select those ones that are most likely not to survive and trash it away.

  8. oga ivf is not a sin, the Bible says heaven helps those who help themselves, when someone is looking for a child he can go an extra mile, even Abraham slept with his wife slave to have a child and the Bible didnt condemn the act.even it takes God's grace to have a successful ivf

    2. Why don't you quote the scripture where it was said that heaven helps those bla bla...

Let's be mindful of adding to or removing anything from the bible. It comes with a curse. Read Revelations 22:19.

About Abraham, "God didnt condemn the act" you say, then what did He do to Ishmael? Read up Genesis 21.

Let's be mindful of our utterances when God's involved.

To every one it's a thing of choice if your inner man isn't in agreement with then by all means hold God to his word and he will grant you your heart desires.

Prothestic arms and legs are sins to an average African that's why I won't train my trio in Nigeria.
I have my 6 year old triplets today, thanks to ivf, did God punish me for attempting it? Instead he blessed me with two boys and a girl at first trial, shame on all who thinks that tout up there has a point, may you all swallow your words.

As long as ivf brings joy to couples , pls go ahead!
Let God decide what sin is when the world finally comes to an end!
I think people should stop drinking Panadol for what is sin and not sin, just live by watever morals you believe is good, dont be in peoples faces and Let our maker (God) decide the rest!

  15. Nobody has now insulted the religion as backwards, everybody is condeming the man and his opinion even though he quoted some bible verses that are valid. But if this man was a muslim, we wont hear word, we’d hear stuff like” ur religion is backward”, “everything is a sin in ur religion”, “tufia” n so many derogatory words. May God show u the way.

  16. I remember when this was first done in the 80s the public outcry about it, they called the Ivf children, 'test tube babies'. Many ppl said the same thing this man stated. God gave mankind brains so they can advance themselves. Religion has not advanced humanity, science and engineering has. God is the greatest scientist and engineer of all, the little that humankind has done fails in comparison. Ivf is not against God's wishes, it is humanity getting closer to God by advancing the race and co-creating with him/her. Yes, I put her there because God is both masculine and feminine energy and it is about time we start recognizing that fact.
