A viral video made the rounds yesterday and in it,a lady was turned down by a man she asked to marry her...it happened at the Ikeja City Mall.

They say that the boyfriend had whispered in her ears that he was married before walking away from the scene....What a pity!!!

    I watched this yesterday and I was embarrassed on the ladies' behalf.

    There's a reason it's supposed to be the men doing this. A man getting this kind of response wouldn't have meant much, but a woman. Haba!

    And instead of her to just carry her shame proudly and leave immediately, she was busy standing there screaming and crying.

    I still don't get why a woman should propose to a man. If I were to be a man I wont accept such proposal. What would DAT make d woman in d marriage? Will u be d head, are u d one that will cater for the family? Let's allow men to be men in peace biko.

    As a lady, u can give all the hints, but not to buy a ring, knee and propose to guy, as in what kwanu. And of all places u choose a public place just so u could trend on SM now see the epic disgrace.

    Moreover, what is it about proposal sef, u can go on and plan for your wedding without so much as as a proposal or engagement ring. BTW, not all engagements leads to d altar.

    I felt second hand embarrassment watching this, it is totally wrong for a woman to do this! she should have some self worth and dignity, forget the angle of he is married that’s why he declined. I hope she doesn’t commit suicide because people will remember this for a long time. I must say she’s very brave though....
