From the story narrated,I think the actress did not know that there was drama surrounding the beautiful dress......

  1. Oh dear. Mercy and drama from designers.

Sometimes celebrities don’t even pay some of these designers before they pull down heaven on earth just to satisfy them.

Mercy might be oblivious to the drama surrounding the dress.
They treasure celebs that bring fame and awareness to them more than ‘unknown’ customers that pay cash.

    1. The designer should be sued for fraudulent conversion of property and emotional damages.
Get a lawyer and get justice.

    2. Oblivious ke? Fabric that she didn't buy?
Mercy is a thirsty ass silly woman.
I was wondering why Ceoluminee didn't sew her dresses.

As for that tailor mennn. She needs to be shut down! My reception dress! Kai!

    5. Please does anyone have a picture of this tailor-please release it? She needs to be shamed and stones thrown at her in public. Mercy is a major oloju koro. I will never watch any of her movies ever again and I employ other women actors to boycott her working in a movies. She is a DISGRACE to the womanhood. This is the worse crime a woman can do to another woman. So anytime you see her in a dress- please Yimu! 'Cos she either stole or borrowed it. Is it by force to form? She is simply a bastard. The tailor SHOULD be sued! If there are any lawyers on this site willing to do probono work for this bride to be to help her. Both mercy and the tailor should be spat on in public and dragged. Fucking bastards!

    7. Ceo made a dress 4 her. Mercy might not be aware that the dress was for someone, thats registered. Now she knows. She should assist in calling out the designer. Yes it wont change d fact that d bride went tru her day without her desired outfit but it will go along way to ease the tension. But will she? No. Most of this outfits aint theirs for keeps. Most times they are returned to the designers after the photoshoot so this wont come as a shock to Mercy.

    8. If this story is the truth, then Mercy should return that dress or pay the full cost to the bride. In fact she shouldn't even wear that cloth again because it's cursed. As of the designer, your own curse is doubled. Who treats a bride like that? This is inhumane.

      Such a dull child

    3. She is right on that. We must hear from Mercy before boycotting her. I personally think she isn't that callous as to know that the dress belongs to a bride and insist on having it. The tailor is extremely wicked. Can we have her photo please?
We need to hear from Mercy to know her side of the story. That comment doesn't make olori.... A dull anything. It's common sense. One thing I know is mercy should equally reach out to the bride.

    4. If Mercy wasn't in the know, she should have absolved herself since. Why is she silent? The fact that the dress wasn't fitted properly on the bustline shows she knew the dress belonged to someone else. If not they could have adjusted it to fit her bust. Did they feel the owner of the dress would be flattered that Mercy wore her dress or what?
That designer is not credible and lacks integrity. She lacks soul. She shouldn't be in business. I'm just gobsmacked that someone could be this callous and evil.

  4. If this is true, it's wickedness in the highest place.

  5. Retty sorry about the delay. You can sue Rita if you so wish but leave Mercy out of the brouhaha.

One advice though, get your wedding accessories ready 2 weeks before your day. Making frantic efforts and panic calls 48hrs to d-day is a sign of irresponsibility.

You are as stupid as for making this comment. People claiming affluence on faceless blog as if they walk on money yet they are struggling like others. Please receive sense as you are so dumb.

    6. These things happen my dear. Sometimes it's unavoidable. Don't call her irresponsible. You don't even know her.

  6. The designer is everything wicked.
How can you disappoint a bride? A dress meant for her wedding day?
From the story, the bride bought the fabric herself and had made full payment for the dress only for the designer to give it to Mercy after she had showed the bride the fully made dress and promised delivery.

She is very dishonest and untrustworthy. Her act was extremely wicked.

  19. Very unprofessional!!! She don put her account for private. That's how I gave my cousin money for my bridal train, around September since my wedding was January 4th and she made the cloths Dec without there measurements, making sm of them that their cloths was tight to refuse wearing it. I made sure she didn't make my younger sister's own.

  20. Well everybody knows the designer now but nobody will patronise her. Lol

  21. I am sure after she borrowed abi rented the dress for her photoshoot, she didn't return it as quickly as she should. Knowing that the dress will have to go the drycleaner after she must have worn it, the tailor was already running out of time anf ended up disappoinying the original owner. The dress is not even Mercy's size sef. But anything that concerns Mercy, I no de believe am. The bride should not collect the dress back but rather collect full payment for the material, the sewing money she paid for it from the yeye tailor.

    1. So if a designer offers you a dress at her store you will start asking her where she got the fabric from? It's not Mercy's fault biko

      Delete
    2. Exactly! She gave the bride a replacement dress but should’ve still sent this one off to her when it was eventually ready, not showcase it in her shop cos it was a CUSTOM ORDER. It’s not Mercy’s fault. Did Mercy know the bride or the backstory behind the dress? If it’s you will you ask if a dress FOR SALE is anybody’s own? The “designer” is the real idiot here.

      Delete
    3. Chikito such a beautiful dress? Me i will ask what it was initially made for..And the dress was made with someone’s measurement so that’s more reason she should have known it’s for someone. If u look at d back well looks like d zip didn’t even close well. Mercy has 50% blame on this cos she tries so hard. It’s very possible they told her and she wanted to do sharp sharp and return it buh couldn’t make it.

      Delete
    4. Yeah right... then she tagged the designer so dat d bride can see it to pepper her ko? smh.... Even if she didnt tag d designam sure d bride would have still seen d dress on mercy and probably called her out...

  29. I used to like Mercy until June last year when I visited naija and went to church with my husband and I saw her several times at a popular RCCG @ Ojodu, I forgot the name. Anyway she would come in to church with a lady i assumed was her her PA and an unkempt little girl of about 12 or 14 carrying her handbag. I was heartbroken 😢😢😢, I mean who does that and in the house of God.

But they were charging rubbish. See me combing owerri the day before, looking for tailor to adjust this festive period. Or the fabrics they messed up that we are still negotiating for refund. All na hype... they are very unprofessional and inconsiderate. And they will call money and demand payment fast. Be forming on top. Disgusting lot! When you warn the brides they wont hear.
