Senator Empowers Constituents With Frying Pans And Gas Cylinders

Distinguished senator Mao Ohuabunwa who is representing Abia north district has been made a subject of mockery by internet users after empowering his constituents with frying pans.

Some other women got gas cylinders as part of the empowerment programme.

Online users were quick to react to this new development after the pictures were shared on Facebook.

  1. 15 gas cylinders and frying pans for 15 people. The senator is crazy.

They will use it to fry groundnut, akara, dundun, potatoes, sauce.

  3. I don't blame them, if they can buy your vote with N200 or 1 mudu of rice, they feel people don't deserve better than this, may God start His judgement now.

  4. Chai! Naija! I don't blame the senators deceiving people with their dirty schemes but I blame the people that are collecting such evil peanuts and won't ever learn. You go fear empowerment (misplaced word) na with frying pan. How much is frying pan again? Oshi! Radarada!

2019 is strolling in gradually, collect frying pans, spoons and fork in exchange for good health care, roads et al. Na them sabi. Later Esau will always be blamed for selling his b/right.

  8. Well they are the ones that condoned the nonsense he dished out to them. I bet they fought to collect the cups of rice or whatever it was he shared during his election campaign. He can't construct bore holes, skill acquisition centers, clinics and maternity centers or upgrade the schools in the community? They don't know the road to his house? The village youths don't know how to burn it down to the ground? Na their constituency money he used to erect it...the same punishment meted out to kidnappers mansions should also be used for politicians that do stupid stuffs like this. Thief na thief

  12. I don't blame these politicians, senators, governors and whatever we have in Nigeria. Vote? no. Protest? No. We keep suffering and smiling because that's what we're on Earth to do.Instead of facing these people its Pastors our power reach to face. So every single Nigerian deserves whatever they are getting.
