Chronicle Of Blog Visitor Narrative

Na wah!!!

STAND ALONE NARRATIVE
FRIEND WITH ENTITLEMENT MENTALITY

I need advice.
For a while my family has had some financial challenges....

now to the issue. my hubby has a casual friend.just hello kind of friend and they don't even have each others number o.two years ago the man was admitted close to my house and we helped financially the best way we could, even food wise.he is married.....

Now the problem.now he is OK now but always in my house and we still help anyway we can.never a time have i not given him food.at times i take things on credit and give him to eat without him knowing it is credit.the relationship graduated he asks for food or money without we seeing anything wrong.if we have we give.but never have we not given him food.he stays till evening .hubby around or not.i will give him thrice or twice to eat.

He has never said no and this is going to a year plus now.he used to be financially OK until he had issues and lost his banking job.The way i package my home you will never know we have challenges, even if my hubby is telling him he doesn't believe.now i noticed he is having a sense of entitlement.my hubby on his own will give him transport .he will be angry.not knowing how things are with us.if i go to the market,he will mouth open.and i have a mindset.don't tell Ur issues to people who can not help.

He says his challenges.i cautioned my hubby not to reciprocate.we stopped cos he does not believe and we owe him nothing.the way i raise my kids.they don't answer random questions if they don't know u.cos people use it to know what is going in Ur life.if we buy a property his countenance changes.down to if my hubby wears a new cloth.or anything good.

He now sees my house as a restaurant.when he got a new job and started blanking us.i was shocked.he lost it and remembers my place.please how do i cut him off without hurting his feelings biko,he is unappreciative,he is now having a sense of.entitlement and he is getting jealous.

He adores what my kids eat.take to school.so many.please how do i politely handle him to get the message biko a way he does not feel insulted and stop coming.am tired of his way of reasoning.i need to cut him off.....

*Stop giving him food and money and anytime he comes and don't engage in long conversations with him...I don't understand how a man can come and sit in your house from Morning till night and even when you are alone with the kids? Are you not scared?especially with this entitlement mentality?

To avoid stories that touch pretend as if you people are travelling and will let him know when you are back.....

If u guys are in the middle of a meal when he comes, refuse to open door no matter how long he knocks.na una give am that kind leg sha

    1. Allow your hobby to take the first step. Sort of "sorry we're telling you this, but the family need little privacy. If you could sort of give us that, w'd appreciate.."

It's your home, you should not pressured into guilt.

    2. Aunty abi madam poster, your full stops too many. But I understand sha....

Now to advice you on what to do, TELL HIM OFF that your home isn't a restaurant, neither do you owe him anything.

Start by locking your gates everyday. If he knocks, tell him your husband isn't around and he should cone when he is around. That's the first thing to do.

Second thing to do is that, TELL HIM to his face again that your HOME ISN'T A RESTAURANT.

      Loooooool...

Make una no mind me o... I just hammer 2.1M from cryptocurrency. The thing be like film for my eyes.

I can't contain my joy biko.

    4. Don't tell him off, don't say nothing.
Just give him an attitude eg stay in the room if he comes, don't come out to greet him, no food. You have time self, giving him 3 square meals, na wah!!

    5. Sure he licks all ya soup?
Very soon the next thing he will lick is you
I mean the you in between ya legs, no I mean
the hole in between your thighs. He will even
drill it, after all, he is "entitled" to you!

      Keep asking us degree questions!

    6. So he is married, and will.come and feed himself at least twice a day then go back to his house to sleep. Im sure the wife is looking for money for food but he is not bothered cos he has where to eat his own!! Evil.lazy leech of a man!!

And you, Madam, how can.you even b comfortable with another man staying in your house all day, everyday. How can your husband be comfortable! Do you know that man can rape you one day and you wont be able to answer questions?

You know what, ignore him. Learn " the resting bitch face" and put it on anytime he comes around. No food, no drink. Even if he Meets you eating, well, that was the last one...trust me, that guy is only there for what he can benefit. He is not really a friend. He is alreasy too close for comfort, Don't wait Until he harms you - jealousy is deadly!

    7. I have a neighbour exactly like this. Let me tell you what we did. 1. Stop giving food and money no matter what. We had to start eating in the room for sometime, then after that I started telling her that food was finished, when she asks for garri to soak, I'll tell her none or no milk. I started hiding things in my kitchen. Secondly stop opening the door. Even when she rings the bell and we don't open, even though she knows we're around. When she calls we don't pick. You have to do this for up to three months or more before he'll get the message. Because tour family's safety is at risk

  2. These kind of men are greedy, stingy and covetous and they can kill you if you withdraw help from them.
It's your house, you're the one doing "oju aye" and letting him have his way when you can simply stop. How can you feed another woman's husband 3 course meal when you can barely feed your own family.
You better check yourself before you wreck yourself and anytime he comes and your husband is not around, open the door slightly and tell him "oga isn't home and you are about heading out". Don't even let him in at all let alone entertain him.
He should know better than leech off people then go into hiding when things are going well for him.
If at all your husband invites him, there is no law that says you should or must feed him. When he is around, don't you have a room to go into and lie down until he gives himself brain and leaves? When you do this a couple of times he'd get the message and stop coming. Stop overdoing it, unless you're running a charity organization. Not even water should be offered to him unless he is dying of thirst. Soon his wife and neighbour's would accuse you of sleeping with him reason you let him in when your husband is not around.
    Please stop it madam!

    1. Very sensible comment. Well said!! You better blank him asap because his type is dangerous. Let your kids stay far away from him too. Its only in Africa that we reward laziness. Only give him food if he meets the family eating,if not, offer only water. Plus, he has no business knowing whether or not you acquire a new property

  4. You guys need to tell this Man that he cannot come there when your hubby is not at home. If you are alone at home when he comes do not let him in. In fact, let him knock and ring the door bell as long as he wants but do not open the door. He will eventually get the message and go look for someone else to freeload on.
Secondly, l hope he is not married and has kids. He comes and fills his stomach in your house. I bet you if he has a family, he lets them starve. The time he use in sitting in your house could be used looking for jobs. Like Stella said, I would be uncomfortable having him there all day without your hubby there. You can’t even take a nap when the kids are at school because the man balance there. Please be very careful before he tries to touch you. Na so people de catch feelings for another person wife. Sorry he gat to go. You guys have done your best. Time to run along.

Whenever he comes to your house, tell him you want to go out and you will stay long where you are going to. If he refused to get the message after sometime, whenever he is around don't open your door for him to enter your house. Stand by your window and be looking at him, make sure he see you.

  16. Also know that there is no way to go about it without '' hurting" his feelings so just tighten your mind and do it. What he thinks be damned.

  17. Wait! A man comes to stay in your house when your husband is not around and he is supposed to be your husband's not so close friend. Is it that you don't have door or what? Pls stop letting him madam. He should go and work abeg, why will you be feeding another woman's husband when you are not doing restaurant business. Forget about hurting his feelings and stop all this. U have been kind enough, don't let your kindness be used against you.

  18. Stop opening your door for him. Let him knock till the kingdom come, pretend like no one is at home. When you ignore him that way for like 5 times, I am sure he will get the message and he will stop coming around.

    ReplyDelete
  19. And I wonder how does his family feed.
Trust me, his wife sees you and your husband as a bad influence to her husband and might even be thinking he's having an affair with you to warrant him coming to your house even if your husband isn't around.

Stop giving him food and attention please.

I don't know how a grown up family man will feel so comfortable eating in another family man's house daily without guilt or shame.

  20. Poster, it's a good thing that you are trying to help. I mean the Bible says to love your neighbor AS yourself but not MORE than yourself. You and your husband should figure out a way to dismiss him.

I suggest that your husband should be the one to handle him since he brought him home in the first place. If he should fail, then start ignoring him. When he comes, leave him in the sitting room and go to your room (not without your phone on video record).

    ReplyDelete
  21. Make sure their is no hidden package between him and your hubby. I have been through this situation before, we flew same color back in school days. He lost his job and became a serious leech. Tell your husband to take him out for a beer and reason with him, especially visiting when he is not around. This needs to be addressed ASAP

  22. The way we are in Africa amazes me. Someone will just come and encroach in your space in the name of family or friend. One of my husband brother friend has been living with us since last year since he got a job in Lagos. A married man working and earning fat salary and he's not even planning of getting his own place anytime soon. Money is not hiss problem. I just tire

  23. Mama Christmas so you dey wait till that man tapes you or your children before you borrow sense abi? Dear poster block him completely from having access to your house. See trouble for this buhari era! Tell him bluntly that your husband is not at home simple and that you want to go out. That man can arrange armed robbers to rob you oo! A word is enough for the wise!

    ReplyDelete
  24. This is a simple matter:
When next he knocks the door/gate, let your oldest child open and tell him 'uncle you can't come in because my mummy said I should tell you that we are not at home. Thank you sir'.

You're considering the feelings of someone who dumped you guys when he seemed to get back on his feet? Unfortunately it was short-lived and he's back to liability mode (temporarily, I hope). And you can't see the jokes on you. Its not about having financial challenges. Even in plenty, don't encourage liabilities around you.

He deserves no sentiments. I mean, with chronicles like this I can see why you're married and I'm not. I can't even feed such a person for two consecutive days 🤣🤣 Leech ass man!

  26. Pursue the man with prayers and attitude.
When he comes, dish food for yourself and apologize to him that he wasn't budgeted. Say food has finished.

Use prayers to pursue him because he is an unfriendly friend. You'll be surprised at how he'll disappear.

    No need for physical confrontation.

  28. U and ur husband should take like 50k to their house and present to him and his wife to start petty trading. Take a quarter bag of rice and other small things to present as well. If he comes after that, tell him u did it all bcos neighbours have started whispering some gossips that u will rather not discuss with him in order not to upset him. If he still doesn't get d message, stop serving him food even if he meets u eating. Do not also let him in when ur husband is away. Warn ur children too.

    1. AnonAnon 18:23, which yeye 50k and half bag of rice? Abeg poster, don't open the door when your husband is not around and if your husband is around. Enter the room with your children. If you are eating and he comes, move your children to the kitchen and let him be hearing their sounds of plates and spoons. I doubt if he will be shameless to ask for food but if he does, let him know that you cooked just 4 cups for your children. Shameless man that is always leaving his family to starve by coming over to feed his lazy stomach.
I can't even cook for a boyfriend that is not giving me money. Last last, he will drink #10 pure water. When I was in school, I don't even cook for male friends. That was how they stopped coming to visit me.

Watch how he will withdraw.plz act serious even cry if need be. I know how to handle his type.
