President Buhari, Tinubu, Saraki And Others Pictured At Wedding Of Ganduje’s Daughter In Kano
Prominent personalities, including President Muhammadu Buhari, on Saturday attended the wedding Fatiha of Gov. Abdullahi Ganduje’s daughter, Hajiya Fatima and her groom, Idris Ajimobi, in Kano State at the Kano Central Mosque.
According to NAN reports, The wedding proceedings were conducted by the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Muhammadu Sanusi II and supported by the Chief Imam of Kano, Prof. Sani Zaharaddeen.
President Buhari, who stood for the groom, gave out the N50, 000 bride price to Ahmed Bola Tunubu, who represented the bride at the occasion.
Among other important personalities that attended the grand wedding fatiha included Senate President Bukola Saraki, 22 governors and 11 ministers as well as over 10 traditional rulers from across the country. Also in attendence were the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr Boss Mustapha, Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari and Senior Special Assistant to President on Media and Publicity, Malam Garba Shehu. Others were members of the National Assembly, members of the business community, politicians as well as members of the diplomat Corps.

ReplyDeleteOur elected Officials should be sensitive to the plight of the populace. There is so much hunger in the land. Lots of people haven’t received their salary nor pension yet our Officials don’t give a damn. I didn’t see 22 state governors attend Chelsea Clinton’s not George Bush’s daughter’s wedding. Our elected Officials need to stop all this ass kissing abd l must be there syndrome. How many trips did Air Force make flying them all over the place. Insensitive lots.
ReplyDeleteThe UN says 70% of Nigerians are uneducated. With this type of backwardness (which very much suits the politicians), how can the people know that they ought yo hold their leaders accountable. The more ignorant the people are the easier for the politicians to get away with grievous atrocities while they send their own children abroad to acquire the best education available. The people are condemned to remain in poverty, ignorance and stagnation until they reach breaking point which might be too late for them to anything.
