Thank you Joy for this, I still feel bad when I remembered what I endured through during my dads burial me and my husband brought like 250k for the burial, on top of that I was abused and called several names even after explaining to them that things are somehow bad for us at the moment. I couldn't sleep through out that period I ended up losing my four months old pregnancy.Thank God we're bouncing back but I will never forget that experience it still hurts

Thanks for your replies yesterday. She called me last night. She first insulted me, telling me that I have nothing and I ignored her call, that she can feed me and my husband and children, she asked that which useless job made me to ignore her calls, "how much are they paying you?" She shouted many times.
"if not for the sake of your late mum who was my favourite sister, I would abandon you".
She said so many things. I just allowed her to finish and I told her "sorry ma". She now said she wanted to tell me that one of her daughters is getting married in December. Said I should not worry about the financial obligations as she will send me money when the time comes.
After the call, in tears, I reminded God to answer my prayers fast so that I would stop receiving embarrassment from friends and family. This aunt of mine is the hottest of the ladies their mum had, very strict and troublesome with a touch of violence. In spite of all of her flaws, she is generous. That is one thing that people like about her. She can give you her eye, then insult you the next minute.

In my house na boarding all through, both of my parents were boarder, my siblings and I the same thing, in fact my house is like 15mins drive to my school, yet I was a boarder. My father no believe say day student dey learn anything. Now we are all grown, my two elder ones already have kids in secondary, they are boarders too. My son will be going by next year. In all we were never affected negatively, rather it helped us being independent and social.
