African Diaspora Merit Awards 2014 In Pics

The photos have not gotten to me so I am uploading the ones i snapped with my iPhone just before the event started proper......Manage the pics...hopefully i should get more soon....























It was a very cold night and I bless God for this body wrapping outfit i wore..most of the ladies froze in their dresses.hahahahahhahhahaha.......and most in high heels needed a change of shoes after a while.















 The venue was so full when the event proper began that there was nowhere to even sit and the after party event i could not attend becos it was already freezing and even my warm ensemble failed me.LMAO!

      Your dress didn't do it for me love. You had too much going on with that hair and dress. U could have worn that dress with a neatly packed hair or ponytail to ease the clumsy appearance.

    Congratulations again Stells honey, you've really done us proud. Isn't it funny how all of a sudden most blog visitors whom would normally tear people to shreds, because of their outfits, are now being so sweet and commending your outfit. I've never liked when people make crass and insulting comments, so I think it's very shallow for people, especially the anonymous readers, to make nasty comments about your outfit. However, if they can't be honest, they should congratulate you and move on. Personally, I wasn't feeling your outfit but you said that wasn't your 1st choice for an outfit. I wish people could be more honest. Because it's Stella, most blog visitors known for making nasty comments about other people's pictures posted on this blog, suddenly developed writer's block. Oh! So they can restrain themselves from attacking a person's style or dress sense? Then there's hope yet!
