Amarachi Ukaegbu Wins Miss Tourism Abia 2014


Amarachi Ukaegbu emerged the winner of the Miss Tourism Abia 2014 Pageant which was held at the all glittering Wonderland Event Center in Umuahia with an exclusive green carpet reception anchored by the Abia Tourism Awards OAP Of The Year Elder Prosper Of LoveFM, hosted by Double N and Chizzy of Pacesetters FM. 























 The guests at the occasion were Abia State Honourable Commissioner For Information and Strategy, Hon.Dr. Eze Chikamnayo; the chief of staff of Abia State Govt. Mr. Cosmos Ndukwe duly represented by by Mr. Onyebuchi Chijioke, the President Of the Miss Tourism Nigeria Organisation Mr. Santiago Roberts, Miss Tourism Nigeria pageant director Mr. Alex Akharume, Miss Tourism Imo Creative Director Mr. Nicholas Kelvin, Mr. Universe Abia Creative Director Mr. Smith Asonye, Wonderland Manager Mr. Franklin Scoff, Mr. Tourism Nigeria S/East Lemon, Top Model Photogenic Henry Emryz, Mr Nigeria Int'l S/East Dj Kasnas, Mr. Universe Abia 2014 Jimpson Kalu, Miss Tourism Imo 2014 Winner, Miss Tourism Imo Culture; a whole lot of guests from the entertainment and political sector. 

Queen Amarachi Ukaegbu hails from Ndi-Okorocha Ibinaukwu Igbere Bende L.G.A, she is a student of Micheal Okpara University, Umudike where she studies environmental biology.

The eminent beauty queen overwhelmed with tears of joy thanked her family, fans and friends for their support; assuring that she would use the prestigious position to foster positivity. Also speaking, Hon. Dr. Eze Chikamnayo a former Commissioner For Culture and Tourism during his official decoration as patron of the Miss Tourism Abia Organisation and receipt of a recognition award for excellence in service at Platinum Elite commended the organisation for promoting Tourism in the state through the pageant. 


 As Queen Amarachi Ukaegbu prepares to represent Abia at the Miss Tourism Nigeria Pageant in Lagos next year, other beauty queens that emerged from the pageant Queen Agwunenu Assumpta Miss Tourism Abia International, Queen Oma Oreh Miss Tourism New Abia, Queen Ijeoma Ikpo Miss Tourism Abia Famous are also preparing to represent Abia at their national contest in 2015.
