Memo To George Turnah On Non Payment Of Bridesmaids Used At His Wedding...

''Dear Stella. The first pic of a man and a lady with Patience Jonathan is George Alabh turnah and his wife. They got married 9th of may in abuja. George Turnah is SA to the md of NDDC on youth development and he is also Good lucks adopted son. He is one of the young Bayelsans that hit billions during Goodlucks reign from oil business and NDDC contracts.

I was one of the girls that worked during the wedding ceremony of Alahb George Turnah and Jennifer Angaye. I will tell the whole story......

George and his wife contacted Mr. Sodin the organiser of Miss Niger Delta and told him to provide girls who will wear the bridal train dress ‎for the bride because most of her friends were all married or too fat or too old to wear such dresses. So Sodin contacted the girls of which I was one of dem.

We all sent our measurements and dress sizes via text message to Sodin and he in turn sent it to the bride and her designer (Vera in Port harcourt). The wedding was held in Abuja.

Sodin told us we will be paid 50k each for the job. The job entailed traveling by air from PH to Abuja on Friday, attend the dress fitting and bridal shower and do the bridal train on Saturday and return to PH on Sunday. As planned,we all including Sodin flew to Abuja for the wedding did the dress fitting. By evening we were already hungry but we couldn't eat in our hotel cos it was really expensive (aes apartment airport road) .

They told us to go for the bridal shower we will eat there. We got to transcorp hilton where the bride was staying. No food. They gave us chin chin. We no mind we danced and clapped for the bride. We ended up going to bed with empty stomach

The next day being the wedding, we told the bride blatantly that we won't follow her to church until we were well fed ,that we cannot come all the way from PH to be starved and the environment she brought us we couldnt afford to buy food!!!

She was eating a plate of indomie she ordered there in transcorp and she gave someone money to go buy 20plates of rice from outside for forty girls!!

Well we managed the food and went to church.

Now the issue is that Stella we weren't paid a dime for the job. They just paid our flights back and that's all. Not even one naira. George Turnah is GEJ S adopted son. GEJ And patience came for the wedding and reception and I have pictures of it.

Please people on social media tell GEJ to tell his son and his stingy new wife to pay us for the job we did for them. Following them all th way to Abuja on empty stomach and working for two straight days dress fitting bridal shower church and reception. They contracted us to do her job. We don't know them. We ain't his wifes friends so we should be paid.

Some of the girls even lost valuables like fones during the ceremony. George and Jenny Turnah pay us ooooooooooooo, pay us our money or I will place this write up on all social media and it l get more dirty!!!

So let's avoid trouble. Sodin has all our account numbers so pay us Please for the job we did for you!!!!

Is it not possible that Mr Sodin was paid but did not pay the rented Bridesmaids?
It's not fair, please the bridesmaids should be paid.

Did they contact you directly ?? I can see how dumb some people can be. You said Mr Sodin contacted you to work as whatever for Mr turnah's init? why insult turnah and his family. 12. See disgrace o. Now everyone will know she hired bridesmaids, which wasn't necessary if u asked me. Anonymous 17:25. Abeg I disagree with u on a few things. True it is the guy that contracted them they should face, but I suspect that the guy may have been telling them he wasn't paid, and the girls prolly didn't believe him, hence this public outcry.

If per adventure they met men at the event, it still doesn't change the fact that they were hired for the job and should be paid. If the bride wanted her gowns from them, I'm sure they would have dropped it. So how does taking the dress suffice it?

The bride is the one who didn't cut her coat accordingly. Why fly them from a different city to come and share a plate of rice amongst two adults? What fuckery? All she was after was the wedding show off, obviously, and not about their welfare. This is a bad omen for someone who just got married, didn't she have a budget for all these? It's a disgrace and if I were her I would pay them off and apologise. Haba!

    4. As in, over stingy sef. I'm one of those who think that food is so cheap and should be made available to anyone no matter what. I can't stand people who hoard food or keep special kinds of food for special people. No way. If the food is readily available and people are hungry, all must to wack o. Obviously, the bride operated on a tight budget, or she just took them for granted. For her mind she go dey think say as dem come, it's a privilege to them and they would rather be at the wedding than get paid their monies. She behaved like she did them a favour by flying them down. Meanwhile the shame and game is on her, not them.

    1. It's been happening my dear, I have been in pageantry and I can tell you that 20% of the high class weddings in Nigeria has rented bridesmaids.

This happens in cases where the bride is an aunty gwegs or whatever y'll call it. Or where the bride doesn't feel her friends are beautiful enough for the job.

whichever the case is, this happens alot in our high class weddings, I have been paid to be a bridesmaid in two top weddings in both PH and Bayelsa, I refuse to give names or clue.

My cousin who got married last year had to go all the way to IUO to rent girls of specific height and body size, to be her bridesmaids cos like herself, her friends are aunty gwegs.

in this case however, I have a feeling Mr Sodin is the one holding back the girls money. These so called organisers/managers are users.... they play the girls alot.

Since the couple felt it was necesarry to go all out and hire the right size and looks of gals abeg they should also make it their concern to see they are paid for the job done. Be it that it is their fault or the Mr Sodin swallowed the cash ,they should ensure all parties are satisfied. BTW must you have bridesmaids, my friend that got married at 36 and the groom was 40. Thou it was a big weddn, all dey had was chiefbridesmaid and bestman. D bride cldnt imagine sum of her friends, which 2 were even heavily pregnant, wearing bridesmaid dress.

How ironic that the bride isn't slim either.

If indeed they didn't give out the money to be paid to the girls, then it's too bad.

    Afterall,having bridesmaids at one's wedding isn't a necessity.

The way poster sound is like someone trying too hard to tarnish the man's image on social media over money. money is money but there are other ways to go about the issue, just because former president and wife was at their wedding you brought out the issue on social media still boost about spreading it more. My dear you will surely regret your action as your post is not necessary.
It's just less than a month and you are already crying on social media. Have you tried contacting the people concerned? Did you also contact your agent/link person who contracted the job to you.
Is wrong to owe you money but i don't think your action now and the way you sounded is not cool you will regret your action.

Yes the girls were flown from PH to Abuja and Back, accomodated and adequately taken care of by their handler. Barr. Turnah and his wife did not at any time reach any agreement with them. The girls ordered for and ate in their hotel rooms as against the false claim that the petitioner made.

May I also state here that although Barr. Turnah is the adopted son of the former President, he makes his money from his business enterprises and not through NDDC contracts or oil deals as falsely stated. Pictures alone cannot stand as evidences so I challenge her to provide evidence to proof that Barr.Turnah is indebted to her concernsing this matter.

  92. EXPOSED: HOW SHE LIED IN THE ABOVE POST

SHE SAID : “George and his wife contacted Mr. Sodin the organiser of Miss Niger Delta and told him to provide girls…”

FACT: Barr. George Turnah and his wife didn’t call Mr Sodin, Rather it was Mr Sodin who called asking if his girls could be of assistance as members of the bridal train as their own form of assistance since he's been of great assistance to Miss Niger Delta Organisation (a request which they accepted because of the existing rapport with Mr Sodin)

SHE SAID: “… who will wear the bridal train dress ‎for the bride because most of her friends were all married or too fat or too old to wear such dresses. So Sodin contacted the girls of which I was one of dem”.

FACT: If all of the wife’s friends are married or too fat as the golddigger claims, who then were the over 30 maidens who formed the traditional wedding train all married, ugly or extremely fat? (none of them were from Sodin)

SHE SAID: “Sodin told us we will be paid 50k each for the job”

FACT: Sodin never said such. Neither was he directed to say such thing.

SHE SAID: “By evening we were already hungry but we couldn't eat in our hotel cos it was really expensive (aes apartment airport road)”
FACT: Upon arrival at AES Apartment opp. CAITEC Mbora, they where all given light refreshment at the pool side. Later in the evening, They all placed orders for food in the hotel (a la catre) the same food she said was too expensive was paid for by their host through their handler Mr Sodin, before leaving for Bridal showers at about 9pm.

SHE SAID: “The next day being the wedding, we told the bride blatantly that we won't follow her to church until we were well fed ,that we cannot come all the way from PH to be starved and the environment she brought us we couldnt afford to buy food!!! “

FACT: The bride didn’t visit AES Apartment were the girls were lodged so how did they get to meet with her talk more speak with her? Rather, it was Sodin who briefed them on time, schedules and logistics. All information passed through Sodin.

“She was eating a plate of indomie she ordered there in transcorp and she gave someone money to go buy 20plates of rice from outside for forty girls!! “

FACT: Mrs Turnah that I know can never treat anybody that way. It’s either the food wasn’t enough at the point of purchase or this girl is a chronic lier. She ate Indomie and so? Long throat!!! Na Transcorp Indomie hungry you and you no tuk?

SHE SAID : “Now the issue is that Stella we weren't paid a dime for the job. They just paid our flights back and that's all. Not even one naira. George Turnah is GEJ S adopted son. GEJ And patience came for the wedding and reception and I have pictures of it”

FACT: They took you to and From Abuja by Air, Made you an expensive gown, fed you, gave you accommodation in a 4 star hotel…ahhhh oh girl you are wicked!!!! You ask for 50k when it cost close to 100k to take care of you for the few days they took you on the trip.

She said: “They contracted us to do her job. We don't know them. We ain't his wifes friends so we should be paid. “

FACT: Where was it written that you would be paid? No body contracted you. Sodin verbally asked if you can make it and you accepted. You should glad to have been a part of that memorable event. Perhaps you thought it would be another opportunity for Gold plated iPhones, or connection with Ministers or Senators. You die well!!

SHE SAID: “Some of the girls even lost valuables like fones during the ceremony.”

FACT: The girls sat in front row of the church, rode in an Air conditioned Coaster Bus and slept in a cuzy hotel, so where did they meet area bodys or thieves that stole their phones and valuables? Make una go ask the men wey una sneak to go meet for midnight

  93. My name is George Turnah. Let me say that usually, one would not bother himself responding or being part of this nonsense, but for the simple reason that in cases like this, the public, readers and commentators may need to have an informed idea of the issues, facts they say, are sacred.
MY GOODWILL, KILLING ME. Thank GOD she didn't say I slept with her or all of them on the promise that I was going to them N1 billion each.
THE REAL STORY: I have always done my best to support Mr. Sodin and his Miss Niger Delta Beauty Pageant Projects, this fact Mr. Sodin appreciates always. So when my wedding arrangements got underway, several groups I have had reasons to relate with in the cause of my job, including Mr. Sodin's Miss Niger Delta offered to make one contribution or the other as support for their "Patron" or "SA". The painful part of this issue is that, when I told my wife to contact Mr. Sodin for the participation of his Miss Niger Delta girls (whom I have supported financially on countless occasions) as offered by the organization, my wife refused, infact, she said she already got her bridal train ready and already made clothes for them, and since she doesn't even know the girls personally. I pleaded and persuaded her to accept Sodin's girls. Eventually, she reluctantly did, on the condition that I have to be responsible for the ordering of New sets of clothes for them, a condition I gladly accepted and paid for the clothes. I did not at any time, neither did my wife make commitment to hire, settle or pay anybody as bridesmaids, NEVER. I challenge anybody to come out and say I George Turnah made commitment to hire and pay her 1kobo to do bridesmaids in my wedding. Infact, as we speak, a lot of my wife's friends are still angry and vexed that they didn't get the opportunity of participating in the bridal train during her wedding.

  95. PART 2
Let me leave all of you with the following posers , perhaps we may find some truth.
    1. The traditional marriage held in Yenagoa, Bayelsa state on the 3rd of May, 2015. Over 30 beautiful ladies made up the bridal train. The "hired" Sodin's girls were not their. Let's say the "Married and too Old" friends of my were the asheobi girls, and it came out good. They were good for traditional marriage, and not good for wedding?
    2. My wife's bridal train at the wedding in Abuja comprised of of about 50 Bridesmaids. Sodin's girls were 20 in number. Maybe we also hired the other 30. Let's say yes we hired the 30, wouldn't a 30 ladies bridal train been enough for a wedding? Did we need to have hired another 20, Ok yes, because they are the most beautiful girls on earth....haha haha
    3. Let's say we were desperate, and must hire girls for bridal train. Wouldn't it have been better, easier and cheaper for us to have hired girls resident in Abuja and pay them? If you were me, would you have preferred to hire girls in porthacourt, make clothes for them, transport them to and fro porthacourt and Abuja airports, fly them on a return ticket to Abuja and back, put them in one of Abuja's most expensive hotels (AES Luxury), feed them, etc? Spending almost a hundred thousand naira on each of them? While you would have just hired girls in Abuja and pay them without hotel, transport, air tickets and feeding? Ok, your answer would have been yes, because they (the Sodin's girls) are the world's most beautiful girls......Nonsense. It is on records that 40 extremely beautiful Abuja girls provided ushering services at the wedding, while another 20 of them did protocol. Why did I not hire them to do bridesmaids?
    4. Talking about treating the girls well: I was at the airport in Abuja to personally receive them, amongst other guests. I drove them straight to AES Luxury where they were accommodated. Mr. Sodin came to me and said he would want the girls to eat outside since they were in a hurry to try their dresses and also participate at the bridal shower party at the Abuja Transcorp Hilton. I obliged, and gave Mr. Sodin money for their feeding (Dinner), and they all drove out for food. It is blatant lie to say they arrived and were kept hungry. Secondly, same night they had the bridal shower party. Please let's be sincere to ourselves. Is is possible to have that kind of party in Hilton without enough something to eat and drink? The hotel records show that from the next morning till they left, they were eating from the hotel and signing bills.
    5. After about a week, Mr. Sodin sent me a text that he was under pressure from the girls to pay them. I swiftly replied him that I had no idea anybody was to be paid for attending my wedding, and that how do I pay for what initially he called"support"? I was very upset and angry, but Mr. Sodin quickly understood it was wrong to have asked for payment, and apologized. When I told my wife about the text Sodin sent to me, she simply said I should show appreciation since they willingly supported us during wedding, not to say I am paying them. Following my wife's plea that I show appreciation, I sent Mr. Sodin a text , informing him that I would like to meet the MND girls, at least to show appreciation. As we speak, my wife and I are still out of the country, only to read this nonsense.
With this, even the planned appreciation arrangement is cancelled and put off.
Haven heard from me, please be the judge.

Infact, as we speak, a lot of my wife's friends are still angry and vexed that they didn't get the opportunity of participating in the bridal train during her wedding

  97. Na wa! Why in Gods name will you go to such lengths to get total strangers to be present at your wedding. You spent at least N2mm unnecessarily to cater for bush girls that will tarnish your image in the public domain. For this lady who had a free return flight, Accomodation and dress to complain about food tells you her level. They should have made the trip by road and the air ticket fare given to them as appearance fee (not like they are celebrities) Their presence did not bring and value to you at all. Her write up says it all. She is a hater; talking about your being a billionaire and that your wife was eating Indomie etc shows she must be a swamp rat. What a mess. I fully support your position sir.

  99. This George Turnah guy has unknowingly justified the posters claims here. 1.if someone wants to support your event why are u the one paying the bills...hotels,clothing, transportation, food. Is like some one telling me he Will support me with music for my birthday but I Will have to bring the drumset, guiter, piano, mic, pay the transport and bring a mixer.. 2. I dont know any woman in this world who will allow her husband bring in strange beautiful models as her bridesmaids in place of her fam and friends, such a woman must be Really dumb. In this case I'm sure she is really really dumb, for allowing her husband to personally go pick up some hot lanky models and the dude said he personally took them to their hotel which he paid for. The man couldn't delegate this job he had to do it personally. Abeg nothing ona wan tell me..

  102. @ Anonymous Everybody who had one role or the other to play at the Abuja wedding from Bayelsa and Porthacourt, were flown , fed and accommodated on the expense of the couple.

Categories of persons who enjoyed this privilege included:

Clergy, couple's families, parents, grooms men, members of committee of friends of George Turnah, bridesmaids and other also associates of the bride (over 50 of them, including the Sodin girls), aides of the couple, etc. Please note here that the privileges were not exclusive for Sodin girls. If it were just the Sodin girls, George Turnah will not go to the airport to pick anybody! He personally had to do so in honour of his parents, Bishop of his church, and others already mentioned above. Two aircrafts (Aero & Dana) both filled to capacity, flew in the persons mentioned above, so you can imagine how many persons we are talking about here.

I never contracted/hired the girls neither was I asked to hire anybody on the Abuja trip. Miss Niger Delta family and other modeling agencies decided to reciprocate the Turnah’s unflinching assistance to us by supporting them during their wedding. The girls were drawn from winners and contestants of past pageants and we often carry them along by engaging them whenever need be with terms clearly spelt out before embarking on any assignment. The couple initially declined but I had to beg them to allow the girls be part of the train (as our own support since they’ve in turn been showing us support and the rare opportunity just showed up for us to do something for them in return). In this case, the family was magnanimous to the extent of taking care of the transportation, accommodation & welfare of all the girls. They even ensured that we were all presented with gift items before checking out of the hotel. Even the cloths were taken care of by the couple in appreciation of the kind gesture. . Although some of the girls were expecting financial gifts as “thanks for coming” but such comes if the couple deemed it necessary. Yes, the couple deemed it necessary and had made it known to me that they would do so once they return from their foreign trip and I in turn passed the information across to the girls. So it is shocking for some faceless girl to go on the social media to say that they were contracted or hired or that monies were given to me as payment for services rendered. Let it be placed on record that I never negotiated with anybody nor asked to negotiate nor promised 50k or any amount of money to anybody.
I wish to also use this medium to apologise to the Couple for whatever embarrassment and discomfort this may have caused them.

  106. My remark is very simple n straight, first I don't know why someone would want to jamm the heads of Mr sodin n Barr Turnah for a support event which him TURNAH took care of all logistics. I as well can't remember Sodin contracting anyone on the grounds of payment. I witnessed the event n took part duelly soo am surprise too see this development. ushers came from Different entertainment groups and friends who hav benefitted from Turnah as patron or sponsor in different events. I know TURNAH as one who appreciates support of that kind willingly but was never aware of sodin contrating any person talk more of stating sum. Please people should learn approach n ways to handle issues cos don't think its nice tarnishing ones image for no good reason. Thank Yu, MacNelson
