I keep getting mails of different Blog Visitors complaining that Salaries have not been paid and details of how they are suffering in Silence..It breaks my heart to know this!

How can anyone work without getting paid for months? How are they supposed to live the good life?eat and afford the every day necessities?

Which state governments are owing?

Please call them out in this soft memo...I am sure some of them will be forwarded this link to read.
Please be civil and do not trade or throw insults.

    4. It's disheartening that the heart of every government can be left to suffer like this. I don't think that state governors realise that the civil servants are the ones who make or mar the success/failure of their governance, so why impoverish them? It is only lagos state that isn't owing civil servants. And that is because of the IGR in lagos, people pay their taxes. Lagos is rich.

Then again we ask, as for the states owing, how have they been surviving? Civil servants are also the richest...because their job is so flexible that it allows them to delve into other businesses to support their income. This is where "ghost workers" emanated from. Some do not even go to their primary point of duty, yet they get paid. That is for those whose salaries are paid on time.

Perhaps the governors know this, that is why they think that they shouldn't be paid on time. Simply bcos they think that these workers have enough money to survive. Unfortunately it isn't all of them that have saved for the rainy days.

Teachers are the ones who suffer the most because they are paid meagre salaries.. and yet they are owed or not paid on time. That is why they insist on undue levies in school, collecting money from students under a false guise, just to survive. Can anyone blame them?

Abeg I don't know the solution to this problem. Even the intervention fund didn't help matters. Worker's salaries should be priority. Each state should utilise their IGR, perhaps designate it for this purpose, while you use ur monthly allocation for other matters in the state. How can people work when they are hungry? I tire biko

    1. Oyo state is worse. They've not been paid over 6months and workers are on strike. The Governor want to privatise the educational sector and the schools are yet to write promotional examinations while their mates in other states and private schools are already promoted to another class. This is so bad and the governor is busy frolicking with Malikka. God will judge all our leaders.

  6. Oyo State Government is the worst. They've been on strike for more than 3 months, and the worst of it is, Oyo State is yet to conduct their Junior WAEC when most States have forgotten they wrote theirs.

Ekitit State is same as well, they're owning 5months salary

  7. No state have any excuse to owe salary. If they can only borrow a leaf from Anambra state. They will learn to sustain their states and in the long run, save some funds. It is grossly unfair that some state with very active tax payers still owe salaries. Until recently, rivers state owed arrears of about 4 months, of which they recently paid 2 months. I don't have info on states owing staff salary but I believe that they can generate revenue internally (farming, transportation, harvesting natural resources) and thereby pay their staff

  11. I want to use this opportunity to call out omak maritime limited portharcourt. Stella, if I tell u we've not been paid our salaries and allowances since last year August. They don't care how we survive. Most of us have kids. Some of us can no longer afford to feed and pay our kids fees yet the director and that his idiotic daughter he put in charge have no pity on us. We have called and complained tirelessly. I can no longer feed my family comfortably, schools will resume September and I have no idea how I will pay my children's fees. I am so scared of having to put them in public schools. Omak please, if any of u gets to read this, Pls and pls, pay us the millions u owe us.

  20. I have not been paid for 6 months now by Abia state government, the last pay I got was January and it doesn't look like we would be paid anytime soon.

There are couples in same office who have not been paid for that long, tell me how they will survive?

I know what am presently passing through, with a sick mother and siblings looking up to me to provide at least a daily bread.

I would not curse you because the bible has done that already in deut:24,14-15,leviticus 19:13, 1Tim 5:18 and others.(that is if you still read the bible).

You collect your security vote every months, sleep at night yet workers go to bed on an empty stomach,God is not a man and can never be mocked.

  23. And what are the workers doing to ensure that their salaries are paid?, the reason why the government does not pay salaries is because the workers do nothing about it. When you start holding them accountable, they will start to pay salaries.

  24. Kwara state has not paid primary school teachers and local govt workers salary since this year started, if they ask the governor he will say Saraki collected it for his court case, they should hold Saraki responsible. Osun state is owning workers salary but he is giving free feeding to pupils," WHO GO CHOP THE FOOD". Ondo! story for another day. OYO same thing,

  25. Delta state governor owing both local govt workers some 5 to 10 months while civil servants/teachers are owed over 2months. He recently introduced a new method where he paid GL01-12. Others OyO. Despite receiving one of d highest allocation in the country and collecting coop money that he doesn't pay interest o he is still not able to pay workers. I curse the day he was elected into office.

  28. Osun state is also part . Rauf is the only governor that paid half salaries for the arrears he owned after bail out was given to state governments. Till now ,he isnt talking about d remaining salaries and he is still owning workers in his state. Yet he will publicize on social media he is owning salaries, how can someone be dt wicked? He threatened workers who aren't ready to collect half salaries with retrenchment hence they don't have choice than to collect d half salaries he is paying.
People who said he built toilets, just one public toilet in state capital and he is publicizing it as if u can find it every where in d state. He has disorganized educational system in osun . He gives tablets to only SS 3 students of few schools and publicized as if all students in osun state have tablets, yet these are schools that lack good libraries, buildings ,teachers and infrastructures. He is really suffering from misplaced prioritizes. He spent state money on project that will get money into his pockets forgetting the masses are suffering. Pls what's d essence of d uncompleted overhead bridge at Gbongan junction when the u can't pay your workers. Now the project of the overhead bridge has been abandoned due to lack of funds and the roads there aren't motorable for people to pass. Osun people, all we need is prayer for God to deliver us from Rauf ,d deceiver!!!

  30. No salary, can't work period. Nigerians will complain that salaries are not paid and their states are not being developed but every time they see their governors instead of booing and shaming them, they clap for them and praise them. When you start booing your governors and calling them thieves on the street every time they drive by or show their faces you will start to see some changes.

  33. State Civil Service is not a good job to do in this period. It leads to paranoia and under-utilization of one's potentials and abilities.
Men (including students, private company employees, self employed, Civil servants etc) should learn various handiwork: welding, brick laying, uphoustry, shoe making, carpentry, trading, mechanic, electrical, electronic, DJ, farming, poultry, blogging, tiles fixing etc.

Women (including students, private company employees, self employed, Civil servants etc) shd also learn skills like: Event decorating and planning, trading, blogging, tailoring, hair dressing, cake designing, snail rearing, poultry farming, etc.

No hope insight yet except the popular Nigerian spiritual and religious beliefs that "All is well, It is well, Thank God for everything"

  43. Ogun State government is not left out. Amosun has paralyzed the local government, he doesn't pay salary and has coveted the revenue and all other means the L.G workers survive on. These wicked and insensitive governors have forgotten that these workers also have families and responsibilities to take care of.

The best bet is for the Federal government to pay the Local government allocation directly to them. The federal government actually pays the local government allocation to the State government, but once the allocation gets to them the governors divert it for their selfish use. The House of rep was proposing a bill that will make the Federal Government pay the LG directly but the association of governors rose against the bill and bribed their way to stop it. This same association governors do a contribution of 50 million Naira each every month to meet their own personal needs while workers suffer. It has gotten so bad that these workers withdraw their children from schools because cause they can't afford to pay.

Stella please don't stop making a post out of this until there's a change. Don't relent in exposing the rot that goes on
in our system. Call of these wicked governors one by one until the news guests to Bugatti and relevant authorities
