Taylor Swift Ends Social Media Hiatus With Cat Video

Taylor Swift is back on Instagram after a short
After posting a flurry of pics from her Fourth of July bash, the Grammy winner’s Instagram account went dark. Two weeks later, in the midst of her controversy with Kanye West, she issued a statement and went silent again.

One week later, she shared a single flashback photo to celebrate BFF Selena Gomez’s birthday, only to disappear once again. But the 26-year-old singer made a triumphant return to social media on Tuesday, when she offered fans a glimpse into her life with a video of her cat, Olivia Benson, on Instagram Stories.

“What’s going on?” Swift can be heard asking her pet, as Olivia stands on her hind legs. “You gonna look less like a cat and more like a squirrel today?”

On Thursday, she also posted a birthday message to another one of her besties, model Karlie Kloss.

While Swift has been lying low amid her budding romance with Tom Hiddleston and her ongoing feud with the rapper, she can’t seem to avoid getting sucked back into the spotlight by her peers.
