Magistrate Grants Former Vice President Atiku’s Son Aminu Interim Custody Of Kids

Judgement fair enough for now!

A Tinubu Chief Magistrate ’s Court has granted Aminu Atiku, the son of former Vice President Abubakar Atiku, interim custody of his two children.

Chief Magistrate Kikelomo Ayeye granted Aminu custody, so as to allow his daughter, Amirah, 8, and his son Amir, 6, complete their third term in their school in Lagos. The court ruled that both children should be in his custody for 71 days beginning from yesterday (November 1) till the day of the next hearing of the suit on January 10, 2018.

The proceedings were closed to the press, but The Nation learnt that Aminu informed the court that he had paid both children’s school fees for the entire year.

He persuaded the court to allow the kids live in his Lagos home until the next hearing of the suit. Chief Magistrate Ayeye, however, ordered Aminu to write a letter to the kids’ school, introducing Fatima as their mother and permitting her unfettered access to Amirah and Amir in their school, at any time of the day.

The court directed Aminu to allow Amirah and Amir to spend weekends, public holidays, including Christmas holidays, with Fatima, whenever she was in Lagos. Chief Magistrate Ayeye also ordered Aminu to deposit both children’s international passports in their mother’s custody.

*I guess Daddy Dearest has intervened!!!

  2. hmmmmmm painful. Both wants to use the children as bait.

May God heal all marriages Amen. The devil is really destroying families through marriages. I hope those that have spiritual eyes should fight for their marriages to be strong and solid so that there wont be room for something like this.

  5. Since the mother will have access to her kids, no problem. But the wife should make sure she collects their passports. That is the only assurance she can have.

  6. This is not a win for Amina.
Will he write the letter to the school? Even if he does, will she be allowed into the school at all?
The passports being in her possession doesn't mean jack.
Holidays with her whenever she is in Lagos in a company of 10 policemen watching her every move??

    Titi you no try.

Divorce is always horror for all parties involved.
Tyrese has finally lost it crying all over social media. Like shedding tears on IG!
I wish the wife will just grant him access to see Shayla.
Guy is all over the place. He needs mental check up.
The emotional stress has really taken a toll on him coupled with the fact that the Rock doesn't want to respond to him.

I can't even imagine what Amina and other women who have been denied access to their kids go through.
    God help us all.

  9. I smell something fishy. The mum can equally stay in lagos and have custody of the kids till the next hearing. These kids have been in their dad's custody, forcefully,i might add.
    Children need a mother's love...This ain't right...and no way,is weekends,public holidays and what not, gonna cut it.. From November 1st 2017, till January 10th, 2018... It's just sad...so so sad.

  10. This is not fair at all...he paid the fees so what? No be their father? The woman can shift base to lagos which she will jump at and the kids stay with her till the next court hearing. As for the passports that one means jack when we have porous borders. Maina no get passport yet he has disappeared from Nigeria. The kids can equally disappear to any country their father wants to. Poor woman...daddy dearest has intervened indeed.

    1. He paid the fees means that it would be waste of money if they leave the school.
