Serena Williams Ask' Mums An Important Question About Breast Feeding

Tennis Champion Serena Williams who is a First time mom, took to Twitter to reach out to other mothers and inquire about their own experiences with nursing.
She welcomed daughter Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr. three months ago

*I always stop breast feeding at one year oh...even that is too much..I was told it is wrong to let a child become addicted to breast feeding.....
I know someone who gave her son breast milk until he was six years old....

Sometimes i miss that ''Milk producing'' pull in the breasts.....

  6. I have used my glo, mtn, spectranet wifi and now smile WiFi on different occasions and I still have the same problem with commenting here. I had to try 5 times before that first comment sailed thru.

Tried another place and didn't get this much problem. Something is wrong. Hence the reduced comments.

  8. I did 3 months with formula. Was it even up to 3 months? My nipple was cracking and the pain was out of this world. I might go longer in my next try. So help me God.

    2. Well done "ThatYorubaChic"! Went 3.6yrs on this end. Little one is now 6 and so healthy! It all depends on the Mother and child. Folks need to read about all the benefits associated with extended nursing for both the Mother and child. In summary to each their own.

  17. I just completed 6 months of exclusive, mehn! It's not for the faint hearted! It was tough, with my baby's reflux n infant colics, couldn't sleep for months, and she's a big eater too. She initially rejected all sorts of cereals what didnt i try, finally she takes them all now. I plan to do for 1yr + , with the hope that she Will Get tired by then. Token breastfeeding until 2yrs is recommended.
