Court Clerk Reportedly Fired For Requesting Money From Rapper Meek Mill

In the latest development of the Meek Mill prison saga, a Philadelphia court clerk reportedly slipped the rapper a note during his latest probation violation hearing asking Meek for financial assistance to help pay for her son's college tuition.

According TMZ reports, the clerk has now been fired. In the alleged note obtained by TMZ, Wanda Chavarria pleads, "This will probably be my son's last semester at VCU if the tuition isn't paid for the year and unfortunately with my bad credit, I am unable to secure a loan or co-sign a loan for my son. Anything that you can do is very much appreciated.

According to Meek Mill's lawyers, the day Chavarria slipped the note to Meek, she was serving as the clerk for Judge Genece Brinkley, who ultimately sentenced Meek to 2 to 4 years in prison. Chavarria says the judge did not know about the note, although Meek's lawyers say, before slipping Meek the note, she verbally asked for money in earshot of the judge.

Court officials have not said if they are reviewing the sentence based on the transgressions of the clerk.

  3. Why fire her na, is it a crime to beg?

  4. Not a crime to beg but I think she could have passed through his lawyer.

  5. Na beg now not bribe!

She should have done the begging legally so sad for her

  6. Eish! Double jeopardy. Cuz she probably didn't get the money but ended up losing her job.
    Really sad.

This is how to have a semblance of sanity in a society otherwise everything gets thrown to the dogs.
