This is a couples Ten Year Struggle To Have A Baby And How God Used Alibaba And Fertility Treatment Support Foundation (FTSF) To Wipe Away their Tears....
‘’Having a baby may seem simple, but the reality of conception and pregnancy is far from simple’’, this were the words of Mr and Mrs Soyemi, who recently delivered a baby girl at St Luke’s hospital after over 10 years of waiting.
Mr and Mrs Soyemi got married on the 14th of June 2008, after which they were expecting the normal thing to happen (Pregnancy) but reality set in when after the 2nd ,3rd ,4th ,5th 6th year, they were unable to conceive.
Mr Soyemi during this waiting period explained how his wife prayed, fasted, cried and even became an internet addict just to read any article related to infertility solutions. He added that ‘’we have visited different hospitals and have seen different medical practitioners and gyneacologists but all to no avail, I eventually gave up because of our ages as we are both advanced in age’’.
In the course of not giving up and seeking solution, the wife came across an e-flyer while surfing the net about the free fertility treatment contest by Fertility Treatment Support Foundation (FTSF) in Partnership with Ali baba January First concert 2017. She recorded a video about her infertility journey and forwarded it to the number as instructed on the e-flyer. Although all she could do was pray and hope she will be selected as she understands that a lot fertility challenged couples will also send in their entries.
Mrs Soyemi forgot about the contest as she was not called up until mid-year when she received a call from FTSF that they are one of the selected couple for the fertility screening. Mr and Mrs Soyemi went for the fertility screening then proceeded to have the free fertility treatment, which was done in Nordica Fertility centre.They had the procedure done and got the shock of their lives when they were informed that the wife got pregnant. Mrs Soyemi said, I was shocked and all I did that day was cry and thank God.
June 2nd 2018, the couple welcomed a baby girl and the pain of 10 years childlessness vanished from their lives. Mr Soyemi said ‘’ I am grateful to God for making the FTSF, Alibaba and the Nordica team change my name to Daddy Baby!!! @alibabagcfr @nordicalagos @drabayomiajayi #Repost #natheworkweywedeydo
