Governor Rochas Tells Govs Ganduje,Akpabio At Reconciliation Meeting That Imo People Have Moved On

Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo state on Thursday during a reconciliation meeting said the current situation in the state chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has made reconciliation impossible.

He said that Imo people were short-changed in their choice of who to govern them in 2019, stressing that it is too late in the day for the party correct the wrongdoing.

Governor Okorocha noted that Imo people have decided to move.

He however said that he, on his own part,he remained a loyal and committed member of the party and would contest the Imo West senatorial seat under the APC.

  1. Power as they truly say, must be a crazy aphrodisiac. In as much as I condemned Rochas choice of his son inlaw to govern Imo state after him, I make bold to say that I love those lines of his for moving on. What are APC trying to settle now? Too late if you ask me. All these lingering issues are what they ought to have sorted out right from the state congresses that brought parallel factions. Believe me, if things were addressed then, I don't think things would have gotten this bad with them in most of the states. This is a medicine after death they came for. Believe me, APC has lost Imo State.

  3. Oshiomole tried to pull a Timubu on Rochas and his inlaw forgetting he's neither from Imo state nor a God father in Imo. The dynamics are different. Ambode is a god son and Timubu was in the Lagos game long before he thought he could be a governor.

  6. the truth is that the governor of IMO state doesn't tell his party members the truth about political situation of the state he governs. only time will confirm to those APC members at the national level that their party lost at IMO state long time ago.till 2019 anyways . let's keep our fingers crossed.

  7. in a nutshell APC as a political party have lost hold on IMO state. the state governor should subscribe to telling his party members the truth and not decieve them with fake crowds and white lies

  14. Please let us pity Akpabia and not to continue crucifying him. The man is presently confused and regretting himself. Was it not the other that he said "I didn't defect to APC, I only moved to APC". Is this not a clear case of confusion? Pls breadren, let us have pity on him. He no longer know what he is doing, neither do he know the next thing to do in order to remedy his present situation. May God help him
