ReplyDeleteU are right Stella,,it's not an easy task..I took care of my step dad till he died in my arms..he had stroke and this continued for 4years,backing him to the bathroom,,taking a walk with him down the street,which was tiring and affected my studies but at the end,he gave up the ghost..

What did he do to his family, that made them abandon him? Like my dad at the moment, he is suffering in the village. Yet people will say his children are all abroad why can't they rescue him. I hope this man case is different though. Men would always say"my kids will look for their father when they grow up". Sorry, not all kids. Some disown you the same way you rejected and abandoned them when they needed you the most.

ReplyDeleteyeah like my dad. he enjoyed life to the fullest when he was young. Going to parties and shows. Going with his girlfriend and all that. Wish I had the heart to abandon him, but I am just a softie. I always wished when I was younger to have a father I could call Daddy. To be able to hug and tell him my troubles when my mum was overwhelmed but he was never there.

Oh well, I am just thankful my kids have a hands on dad. I guess God has compensated me.

ReplyDeleteThat how my dad suffered stroke and he was and still is a failed dad, my mum never turned her back against him, she closed her shop and took care of him, if you know what it means to take care of someone that has stroke then you will know it the hardest job
My dad never had money, so he told us, leaving all to my mum to do, even when that woman is stuck on the way, he won't help,my mum will go borrowing.
When he became sick, he had no choice than to give his ATM and bank details to mum, and what we discovered shocked us, my dad was rich kia. My mum is the one controlling the money now while giving him 100% care while he there boiling in anger. i told my mum chop well oh cos it God paying you back in good
For everyone to have abandon this man, not even relative? they should ask him how far. My dad should thank God daily for the woman God gave him cos me i wouldn't have been able to pack shit or urine period
