    1. Come and live abroad so you will understand discrimination. They wouldn't give you a job, rent you an apartment, give you opportunities or share useful information because you are black. Your kids will hardly get any playdates with other kids because they are black and on and on and on, it goes on...

    2. Anon 12:09, I will refute this comment you made because you did not identify clearly which "abroad"?.
In my area,an individual with colour are treated the same with their white colleagues. So also, people with disability are treated with high-priorities.No matter their colour or age. Majority of them are in various jobs( charity or paid).
It is good know ones right no matter who you are, or were you come from. Most especially the person's place of work(this will only happen if living illegally, and just accept any sh**t they dish at you). One should not just assume, or follow word of mouth(like, they are like that. Which is very common with people of colour and don't take it up).

An individual children has got the same right to access any infrastructural facilities like other children because their parents pay taxes.

If the individual think they are treated unfairly or discriminated, you seek advice from your local advisory bureau, who will direct you on the next step to take.

    3. @Posh Midwife, I don't know what "abroad" you live in but why should you assume that the writer does not live abroad and formed an opinion based on hearsay?

    4. @ anon 16:25! I reside in UK.
According to the Anon12:09,"Come and live abroad so you will understand discrimination".
This ☝️indicates sir/madam knows what she or he is saying and reside "abroad "πŸ™„.
Also,I am not assuming either, and I did not comment that the Anon "formed an opinion based on hearsay"?
But pointed out that, "ONEπŸ‘ˆ should not just assume, or follow word of mouth".😘

    5. Posh midwife... I am not the first Anon.
I live in the UK and I can categorically tell you that discrimination is prevalent in the UK. They try not to be obvious about it because of the laws against racism and discrimination. But if you are perceptive you will see all the subtle signs of discrimination.

    6. We black discriminate against our fellow blacks(ethnicism), so why blame the whites? We must first remove the log in our eye...

  4. Why are some people still so backward in this age and time. Such a beautiful lady too. Disability shouldn’t be treated like an infectious disease. I pray that this incident will cause doors to open fir this beautiful young lady.

  19. But her hand has nothing to do with her face na. If u want a face model that doesn’t matter. I’ve been a face model b4 and I was very over weight then. My body had nothing to do with it. She just met a foolish idiot that’s all.

  20. Same thing happened to my baby Sis, she had an accident when she was a little girl and her right hand was a little bit disfigured, she went to a nearby hotel around our house to seek for employment and the manager rejected her because of her hand, my sister cried her eyes out that day but i encourage and she later got a job at a different hotel, but not up to one week that manager got hit by a stroke and her mouth was disfigured, now she is jobless, husband less, money less, thank God i didn't say anything that day if not people would have accused me of being behind her sickness and less i forget my baby Sis is currently studying, medical laboratory.

  22. I blame the Agency for what happened!! Why send her to the MUA without informing her that's she's an Amputee and verifying the concept of the shoot?? If the lady didn't fit into the concept of the shoot, the MUA is right to have asked for another model!!

The Agency is highly unprofessional and didn't handle this well at all!!!

  24. Oh! oh! Bro first I want to say am sorry about what happened to your sister. It's so sad I must say. If anybody should be helped to gain some level of financial freedom, it should be people with disabilities. Pls tell her not to worry. If men already feel this way about this situation, then God is on her case already.
