Actress Maame Dokono Says Any Man That Washes A Woman's Panties Is Cursed...

Veteran Ghanaian actress Grace Omaboe popularly known as Maame Donkono has sent some words of caution to the youth and men to desist from washing woman panties saying its a bad practice.

According to Maame Dokono, any man who does this is cursed and would be faced with bad luck forever. She used the bible to back her point.

She stated that the good book of Christians has made it clear that the man is the head of the family and hence shouldn’t have to stoop low by washing panties no matter the situation.

Maame Dokono who shared her view in an interview on Vibes in Five said “No, No, it will be hard luck on the man if he washes his wife’s underpants and everything of the man will go bad.
“It will have spiritual implications and everything of the man will not go on well for him”.

She threatened that she will slap and beat the hell out her son if he should she ever see him washing the panties of his wife because that is not his duty as the man of the house.

"I will take the things from my son and slap him with it. I will ask him if he’s a fool to be washing his wife’s panties, I will ask him that Kwabena are you a fool?” she said.

      2. If she is overwhelmed (especially during pregnancy)
      3. If they use a machine or not hand wash and he wants to do the laundry. (P.S not everyone wash their undies daily)
      4. He just wants to do it as a show of love and it's HIS WIFE! His BETTER HALF!

I saw my aunt struggle with her last pregnancy, thank God she married a sane man who was there to help her,and wash up after her till her mum arrived.

People will just wake up and say nonsense, go to their homes, you will wonder why you ever listened to them.

    2. You have no idea what men do when they're in love.

Nothing wrong with a man washing his wife panties.
Its just like putting the panties in the washing machine and then spread them out to dry.

  4. I am so fucking tired. I'm just too tired.

Last weekend, we had a Couple's program in the church and I invited my husband with better begging oh cos he doesn't like Nigerian churches at all.

If course, it was a fun program but they ruined it for me with one particular advice.

So they were talking about how to make ur marriages last and one elderly igbo man (of course it has to be an igbo man) said something about two things that men like, food and sex and that the woman should be ready to provide these anytime the man wants it and people cheered and clapped.

To counter it, a younger lady said something about the man being considerate sometimes like when she's tired or not in the mood, the younger crowd agreed but it was the response of an older woman, not too old but not young either, that put me off.

She took the microphone and said, well, there's no excuse to refuse your husband sex or he will go outside to get it. She said when u are not in the mood or tired, pray to the Holy spirit to give u strength.

    My jaw dropped.

My husband just turned to me and said, 'look at the church u are going'

Now I'm glad he doesn't attend the church.

I hope our churches isn't even a contributing factor to marriage problems

    3. do some of you even think before commenting or you simply want to attack Eka? i am born again, spirit filled, tongue talking but i dont accept everything i hear in church.that woman is totally wrong. sex is not food and God has given men the ability for self control. why must women be threatened with affairs for every thing? so you wife is tired one night and she must sanctioned?it is a known fact home and abroad that women do 80 percent of house chores. it is a different thing if she is always GIVING EXCUSES CAN THE MAN NOT look for a way to resolve the matter? women should tolerate their husband,s shortcoming but men must quickly run out and cheat...

    4. anonymous 12:11 what are you even saying. how is this about superiority or inferiority smh. i years back refused to be a member of my friends church in london because of all the naija stuff i saw them doing. it was filled with a particular tribe and they were just too extra. hubby and i settled for another church that was very mixed nationalities in Golders Green. when you truly love your spouse in the light of Gods word there will be freedom in expressing that love without inhibitions. if your spouse is tired to make love and you know its not a habitual thing a cuddle wont kill you and God is not a wicked God that will insist you make love by fire by force. so called Christians infusing marriage with their African mentality and prejudices. how all these funny advice align with love in 1st Corinthians 13 beats me

    5. Eka Joy, you better be careful the church you take your husband to in this obodo oyinbo, you better be careful the people you mingle with and be more careful of what you hear and digest as the truth.

    7. I am telling you, I expected anon 12:11 to have said something sensible. Kudos to eka for even answering her about her location. I don't even know what to say about the older woman's comment, I am truly weak...
I had an ex who used to wash my clothes and undies with his whenever he did laundry. I didn't ask, he just did. Same way we took turns cooking just because... There was an unspoken way of us doing things and it worked fine. Everyone has an opinion of how someone else's life or marriage should be but can not apply said opinions to oneself. Whatever works for you in your relationship, that's all that matters...

  5. Na wah oh! Is it war against women? Don't kneel to propose to your woman, don't wash her undies but he can go down low on her huh?

  12. This people who come and give all kinds of silly advices to couples should just stop.

First of all they don't understand the woman's place as it is in the Bible talk more of telling us what to do.

The woman is not less than a man in any way. To make this post more controversial for those who have the time. The woman is an improved version of the man. God did not make the woman to be less or to be subservient to him.

God made them to both dominate and rule the earth.

However, what if the woman is sick and can't help herself, who washes for her?

The woman is good to be slept with,to cook nice meals, bear children, take care of them. Make sure the husband is well taken care of.

But to wash ordinary pant for his wife makes him cursed?

This woman doesn't know it. She is using her culture and tradition to say this.
She should say what she wants without using the Bible.

The Bible says the man should love the wife as Christ loved the church. And we know Jesus died on the cross for the church. So how is the man loving the woman like Christ if even the minutest things he can do for her is a big problem?

    Common

    1. alot of them just punctuate every sentence with God and bible without truly knowing even knowing what God or his word says. because the devil has distorted everything the burden to love in marriage has been placed on the woman instead of the man who was commanded to. we have to do the respect, loving and take the burden of building the home alone. a whole generation of men have been taught wrong and we should begin to do better

  22. There is nothing wrong about washing undies. Let us stop making life complicated. What matters is mutual respect and love for each other.

  23. So if your woman is seriously sick at the point she cannot do anything, is this woman saying her husband shouldn't assist to wash her underwears?

What if your woman is heavy on bed rest, so the man shouldn't assist her to wash her pants?

    Ooin........

  24. But the woman can wash the man’s undies abi? By the way, is it with washing machine or hand? I wonder the kind of husband this woman married and the kind of things she’s teaching her children.

On this one, I follow Eka Joy to be “tired”. Do whatever works for you abeg

  25. I never have dirty undies because I wash them when I take my shower, so this will likely not be an issue for my future husband. But for those ppl who throw them in the wash to be done on laundry day there is no abomination in a man washing a woman's underwear. In marriage you become one unit so there is no shame in doing these things.
