    1. People are finally waking up to the lies of waist trainers and slim teas. If you really want to lose weight, eat once a day. I lost 30kg in 8 months last year with this routine. I now eat twice a day to maintain my weight. That's the simple secret.

    2. Anon 10:35....you're absolutely about eating once a day.

If you really want to loose weight, how about you take fruit as breakfast then eat something not too heavy during the day.

    3. Anon 10:35- please can you tell me how you do it, what do you eat once a day and how do you not stay hungry for the rest of the day. Also what time do you eat. I really need help.

    4. Yes, i don't joke with breakfast but i skip dinner a lot, it was when i started eating dinner that i added, i stopped dinner and lost weight.

    5. The once a day thing works. Now I have a flat tummy and I try to maintain that. I don’t have the strength to Gym or carry all those things and I don’t even want bulging muscles. Just to reduce

    6. At Anon 12:31,for the once a day routine, I try to eat around 2pm so it will last me till the next day. You can eat absolutely anything! Just make sure you can finish it in one sitting. When you start the routine, for the first 2 weeks, you will feel like you want to die of hunger. But you get used to it. Please note that if you have ulcer, this method is not suitable for you.

    7. Thanks anon 14:10 for answering this. Looks like this would work. 2 o clock is also a good time. I’ll try this.

    10. Once you restrict your calories and you are in you’ll lose weight . Whether once a day or 10 times a day doesn’t matter.

You can eat once a day and consume 5,000 kcal in one sitting since you are eating more than you normally burn, which leads to weight gain.

The most important thing is to remain in a deficit. So eat less than you usually burn , spread your meals out or eat once a day , whichever works for you .

Diet is not rocket science, discipline is where it lies.

    11. Please don't go and try eating just once a day without knowing if you have ulcer or typhoid in your system.I know someone in Uni that nearly died.Everybody is different. If you are not sure consult your doctor before doing it.

Eating a small portion of food for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with exercise and inclusion of fruits are your best bet if you want to loose weight the right way and stay that way for years.

    12. Anonymous 18:21, that's not exactly right. If you restrict your calories you'll will wreck your metabolism. And if you restrict your calorie but eat small meals frequently you may not lose weight because you'll be spiking insulin every time you eat.

  4. I don’t think it works either. Or if it does, it’d take yearrrssss of wearing proper corsets (think 19th century-esque steel boned corsets) before you’d see results and it’d basically redistribute your gut organs and possibly fracture your ribs and idk how safe that is.

Work out, get Lipo or love your “excess waist” lol.

  10. Sincerely speaking, it doesn’t work! I spent money buy G**F*t. Followed all the instructions, yet my mummy tummy refused to shift. Maybe if you haven’t given birth it can work for you but it didn’t do nothing for me. I don’t eat for two. I’m back to my prebaby weight. I can still wear most of my clothes !

    1. I think encouraging good health is even more important. Eg some of the the slim teas cause people to bleed profusely and increases their period and some bleed twice in a month for long periods.

After child birth i prefer using wrapper to tie my stomach, it's really painful so i tie it at night when i want to sleep and lie in my stomach, it really really works

    1. That wrapper works like magic, esp when you start tying it that same day you gave birth or the next day. Just tie it tight on the navel, hot water and the pepper soup for 3 months then another 3 months of warm water. Good to go.

  18. Waist trainers are scam. They don't work..it damages your internal organs..to reduce weight, watch what you eat, no late night heavy meal, sugary drinks should be stopped, just water constantly..lots of veggies..brisk walking is a form of exercise too..stop sitting around for long. Reduce salt & sugar intake.

  20. Same here, I started feeling numb around my thigh I had to stop wearing it. All I do now is avoiding loading my stomach with food whenever I want to wear fitted dress.

  21. I had to look for a corner to remove it. Imagine meeting my online date for the first time and I couldn't walk. Luckily is a good guy if not that would have been the end. I bought a size too small to have a perfect hourglass.
