  1. Praying For All Men Is Sacrosanct!!
    1 Timothy 2:1.

    Excerpts!!

"We all want to lead quiet and peaceable lives; we want honesty in our societies. But for all that to happen, the Scripture tells us what we must do: pray for all men; for kings, and for all who are in authority. God wants us to pray like this “first of all”; in other words, as a priority. It’s a divine instruction"

"If we pray more this way, God’s righteousness will be established in our nations, cities and communities; and all forms of evil, turmoil, wickedness and terror will be thwarted. If you haven’t learnt to pray this way, begin today"

"Perhaps you lead a cell group, an outreach fellowship, or you pastor a church, teach and lead your members to pray this way"

    Prayer!!

Dear heavenly Father, thank you for your Spirit that guides me to pray aright and pray effectively. Even now, I pray for all men; for kings, and those in authority in the nations of the world; thanking you, that your righteousness prevails in their hearts. All over the world, the lives of men are being transformed by the power and influence of the Gospel, resulting in the glorious salvation of many, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

    Further Study:
    Jeremiah 29:7; Luke 18:1; 1 Timothy 2:1-4 AMPC.

  5. Every time I travel to other parts of the country, I am truly intrigued by the difference in traditions and practices.
I was born and raised in Kano. Over here, we don't bury the dead where we live. It's always at the cemetery. So imagine me seeing graves in houses, and the people in the house act normal and go about their daily activities. Wow!
Personally, I wouldn't be able to feel free at all. Not because I am scared, but I'd just feel very uneasy. I have nothing against this though. I am just intrigued by our diversity in practices & beliefs.
Truly, there are different things to see in Nigeria and plenty to learn as well......

    2. You are right, I stayed in Katsina for two years and I noticed the above but Down here, it is our culture but recently, some states has stopped burying people in the house now.

    3. Morayo: Hey blog sis! The one time I visited my Home town of Akwa Ibom, I was truly taken aback. Our family house had lots of graves of dead family members. I was very very uneasy and uncomfortable unt we left. Kinda strange for me.
      Good morning to you sis.

Plinky Baba: I greet you bro. Yea, it's actually common in other parts of the country. In my trips to Kogi, Edo, Bayelsa and other places, I see it's common practice. The people in those areas are used to it.
How's your family bro. Warm regards....

  6. I don't want someone to love me easily. I want it passionately, with struggle and strife. Do not cower in the face of adversity. Love me enough to speak even when it hurts. Love me enough to kiss me when you're angry. Love me enough to fight with me and still want nothing more than to hold me at night. I want someone to love me deeply.

  21. WE NEED CONNECTEDNESS (2)

They shared everything they had.' Acts 4:32 NIV

When you read the story of the New Testament church, you can easily get caught up in its explosive growth and amazing miracles. But here's a component you shouldn't miss: 'No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had...There were no needy persons among them...those who owned land or houses sold them, brought the money...and it was distributed to anyone who had need' (Acts 4:32-35 NIV).
You say, 'If I just had more money I'd be happy.' You might feel more secure and have fewer worries, but you wouldn't necessarily be happier. In the Journal of Happiness Studies, researchers looked at what distinguished quite happy people from less happy people. One factor consistently separated those two groups. It's not about how much money you have; it's not about your health, security, attractiveness, IQ or career success. What distinguishes consistently happy people from less happy people is the presence of rich, deep, joy-producing, life-changing, meaningful relationships. Social researcher Robert Putnam writes: 'The single most common finding from a half-century's research on life satisfaction, not only in the U.S. but around the world, is that happiness is best predicted by the breadth and depth of one's social connections.'
But you can know a lot of people without really being known by any of them, and still be lonely. The people in the New Testament church got it right: it's in sharing with one another spiritually, emotionally, financially and relationally that you achieve your highest level of joy.
