President Elect Bola Tinubu Says He Will Form A Govt Of National Competence

Nigeria's President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, on Thursday March 1, 2023, dampened the hope of advocates of a government of national unity, favouring competence over such a political arrangement.

He stated that his aim was higher than a government of national unity and would rather seek a government of national competence in selecting his cabinet members and not choosing appointees based on religion.

I stopped commenting or engaging on discussions that has anything to do with the picture of the man on this post or their party cos sometimes I did, I didn't get to see my comments enabled and I believed they went into spam. This one too may enter into the Spam folder too or a miracle may push it out. After all, miracle no dey tire Jesus😁😁😁

Maybe I will soon stop commenting on political issues here as well for the sake of my mental well being.

I've decided to channel that energy into something productive and useful to my myself. .

  6. This man is not our president. He didn't win the election and he should stop wasting his time.

  8. Reading the comments in this post just goes to show the problem we have as Nigerians. An election has taken place, only one winner will emerge. We need to learn to move on and stop brewing and spewing hate; our kids are seeing this and following suit. Spreading hate through generations without understanding that all parties cannot come out on top.
BAT has won, let us do one of two things: 1. Support him and hope for a better Nigeria, or 2. Peacefully reject the results and pursue legal process/ allow the party to pursue legal process.

Calling people names, and brewing hate is not the way to go. What happens if the mandate remains with BAT? Will we curse and antagonize Nigeria for the next 4 years?

Please be the change we want to be, don’t insult people for no reason.

    Thank you

    1. People are not rest to be reasonable after voting in anger. There is a strong jihadist mindset disturbing those who supported LP and unless they address it and truly embrace democracy, they will waste a lot of time being angry.
