On Sunday February 5 2024,the Organizers of the 66th edition of the Grammy Awards played the late Nigerian Afrobeats Singer, Fela Anikulakpo's hit track 'Water' while announcing South African's Singer, Tyla's 'Water' as the winner of the Best African Music Performance Category.

Lol.....water na water

DeleteMay people be celebrating others ehen you walk to a podium to recieve a prize.
After all, prize winner is prize winner abi?
I will not be surprised if they thought Fela's water was the nominated song because that her song does not deserve a Grammy. The chorus is catchy but the rest of the song are like samples of existing American songs.
