Bizman Guobadia Regrets Marrying RHOA Star Porsha Williams Says She Targeted Him For Money

Nigerian born businessman Simon Guobadia has shared some narrative about his short-lived marriage to Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams. In a recent interview, he said he “absolutely regrets” marrying her, alleging that he was targeted for financial reasons and that their relationship began when Porsha messaged him during his previous divorce.

He called the marriage a “$5 million rehab project”, implying emotional and financial damage. Porsha filed for divorce in February 2024 after only 14 months of marriage. She cited immigration concerns and a confrontation on Valentine’s Day as her breaking point.

Simon was later deported to Nigeria for immigration violations, including bank and credit card fraud. Simon claims he was blindsided by the divorce and that Porsha never communicated problems beforehand. He insists the marriage was never about love and plans to appeal the court’s ruling.

Porsha won the legal battle, she’ll receive $40,000/month in alimony for 14 months ($560,000 total). She gets to stay in their Atlanta home (mortgage and expenses covered) for up to 3 years. If she buys the home, she must pay Simon 50% equity.

The couple didn’t have kids together, but Porsha’s daughter PJ and Simon’s sons lived with them at times. Simon says he never bonded with PJ and accuses Porsha of using her to manipulate him.

During divorce proceedings, Williams revealed she had paid child support for Simon while he was in custody and unable to access his funds. Scoffing at the gesture, Simon tells u he wishes his sons’ mother would not have accepted the money.

“[Williams] sent her two $2,500 payments in one month, and that was it. That didn’t even necessarily cover anything,” he says, adding, “In my opinion it was not done in good faith. It was done to give a narrative in court or to the public that ‘I paid some of his child support.'”
