INSIDE THE MIND OF A WOMAN GOING THROUGH MOTHERHOOD

It’s been crazy and super exhausting for me in the last few days. Settling in the new place, watching the kids settle and adjust, has been taking up my time. I'm trying to find a new routine for everyone, too. I had a blast on my birthday, and my kids were super excited.

Since we are not too far from a major express road, my boys have been having a blast watching trucks pass by in the evenings. Taking them there was a chore at first, but now we spend it counting and identifying the kinds of trucks and other vehicles passing by. They even try to identify the brands at times. This has made the whole walk down to watch the trucks more bearable for me.

Since we moved, my princess has been fixated on a particular gown. It’s a full princess gown, and that's what she wants to wear even to bed. She throws a tantrum when she can find it, and she has also learnt to search the laundry basket for it .

I am looking for the gown to buy at least two to three extra so she can wear it more often and avoid the tantrums I get when it’s dirty.
Her brothers weren’t fixated on any particular outfit at this stage and weren’t conscious of their looks at all. It’s fun watching her grow and her shenanigans.

The house is so beautiful and i pray we dont hear anymore stories.....
This your girl is already a drama queen at this age? na wah oh

FROM THE COMMENT SECTION

Dear lady,,

I am sincerely sorry for calling you out some years ago. I didn't know you and that name was associated with more than eighty people. I did not know you would take it personally, or be recognized as the person referred to. I am sorry, if it affected you negatively in any way.
As for the things you wrote about yourself which you later claimed to be some "cruises', I was truly concerned about them. How was I supposed to know they were fictions?
I have forgiven you, for all the evil you did to me. I ask for your forgiveness too.
Please draw closer to God. He is all we need. Every other thing is like a wind. PEACE!

This was dropped in the wrong post so I am reposting it here hoping that whoever it is for will get the message... I hope it isnt who i think it is?OK so who do you think dropped this message?

Congratulations.... I pray you carry to term and birth a healthy baby in Jesus name

WHAT NEXT?
Have you been able to reach a goal at some stages in your life?

For some of us it’s graduating from school or university, to some, it is getting that promotion, others are into hitting a challenging sales target.
It is always a great feeling when we achieve our ambitions, but then, after reaching our goals what should we do next?

I like to compare goal-achievement to climbing a mountain, and when we get to the top what do we do? In that context here’s what I think we should do after reaching one of our goals.

1. We need to Enjoy the view:

It would be a shame to climb to a great peak and then start your descent without taking a moment to relax and enjoy the view. So why is it that after accomplishing a goal, many people forget to enjoy the moment and move on too quickly?
Once you’ve reached your goal,

I would encourage you to stop, take a deep breath, bask in your achievement and find a way to celebrate what you’ve done. After all if you don't blow your pipe, no one will blow it for you. A lizard that jumps from a high iroko tree says if no one praises him, he will praise himself.

2. Learn from the experience –

I’m sure that after someone has climbed a mountain, especially one that they’ve never scaled before, they will have made mistakes and needed to use new skills along the way.
Similarly, any significant achievement would have involved errors, risks and the development of your capabilities. By taking note of the things you’ve learned throughout the experience, you will be better prepared for the next stage of your life.

Thank those who have helped you along the way – Mountain climbing may seem like an activity for individuals, but very few successful climbers are able to get very far without the assistance of others. They are called destiny helpers.

In our endeavours, there are always people around us who have helped us to reach our goals. Make sure that you take the time to express your gratitude to your spouse, your mentor, your staff, your peers, God or anyone else who has been helpful to you. You’ll probably find that they will sign up quicker to assist you again next time if they aren’t taken for granted. Yoruba will say "Yinni yinni keni o se imii," (literally means appreciating others for what they have done motivates them to do more).

3. Look to greater heights

– Unless you’ve climbed Mt Everest, there are always bigger mountains to climb. One success leads to another bigger challenge. The best reward for a well done job is more job

Once you’ve reached a certain level of achievement, don’t rest on your oasis or set goals that you can reach with little planning or effort. Look at the mountain that’s bigger, harder and more challenging. "Hard way the only way" was the title of an American film in the 80s, the title speaks volumes.

I hope that you have a lot of mountains ahead of you to be climbed.

And whenever you reach a new peak, try much to enjoy the view, learn from the experience, be grateful to those who have helped you and look to greater heights to climb. The world will celebrate you thereafter.

LETTING GO IS HARD....?

Letting go is hard but staying with someone who makes you explain everyday how you need to be treated is draining.

You can only repeat yourself so many times before you run out of energy, especially with a man who refuses to change or grow with you.
The truth is, men aren’t complicated.

He hears you, but he makes no effort because he doesn’t care, and no matter what you say, what you give, or how patient you are, it will never be enough for a man who doesn’t value you.

At some point, you have to be real with yourself and say ...
“I’m not loved here. I’m not appreciated.”
“I’m not valued. I’m not seen.”
What you need to do .... is walk away, and stay away because a man that cares about you, would never put himself in a position to lose you.

  26. Investing in a palm tree farm can be a lucrative venture, especially for long-term financial security and retirement planning. Here’s a concise guide on how to embark on this journey.

    1. Research and Understand the Market
Before diving in, conduct thorough research on the palm oil market, including demand, pricing, and export opportunities. Understanding the landscape can help you make informed decisions.
    2. Acquire Suitable Land
Identify potential areas for land acquisition where palm farming is viable. Look for at least two hectares of land that has suitable soil and climate conditions for palm cultivation. Ensure that the land is legally clear and has no encumbrances.
    3. Capital Investment
Calculate the initial investment required, including land purchase, seedlings, equipment, and maintenance. Secure financing through savings, bank loans etc.Consider establishing a business model that outlines your operational costs and potential revenue.
    4. Cultivation and Management
*Select Quality Seedlings; Choose high-yielding and disease-resistant palm varieties.
*Planting:Follow best agronomic practices, including proper spacing and soil preparation.
*Maintenance; Manage the farm effectively by employing skilled labor or agricultural consultants to ensure optimal growth.(that's where some of us comes in)
    5. Sustainable Practices
Implement sustainable farming methods to optimize yield and protect the environment. This includes proper land use, pest management, and soil conservation techniques.
    6. Diversification and Partnership
Consider diversifying your investment by growing other complementary crops or exploring partnerships with existing palm oil companies for better resources and market access.
    7. Long-term Planning
Plan for the long haul. Palm trees take 3-4 years to start yielding fruit, but they have a productive lifespan of up to 25 years. As you approach retirement, a well-managed palm farm can become a significant source of passive income.

    Legacy Building....
Just like my grandfather's orange orchard in Benue,a palm tree farm can become a family legacy. Yourself, children or grandchildren can benefit from this investment long after you’ve retired.

By strategically investing in a palm tree farm today, you lay the foundation for a sustainable source of income that can support you through retirement and provide financial benefits for your future generations.

    Good day from here..✌️
