    1. i doubt this story that he was sentenced to death & spent 26 years in prison for buying a stolen gnerator. The correctional service must tell us what transpired.

  3. A very very sad story. May God not let us pay for a crime we didn't commit.
I'm happy he is well and his mom is still alive.

  11. Nigeria's Criminal Justice System!
They punish the poor and the innocent but let the rich criminals roam free.

  12. I remember when I was in school, my roommate had a brother who was serving jail term in Kaduna prison for buying stolen goods. We were always going there to visit him.
A lot of prisoners are in there for something they don't know while our politicians are freely embezzling funds like there's no tomorrow.
Thank God he came out alive. May God give him the grace to pick up the little pieces of his life and build up.

  14. Oh! What a life. The prison is full of innocent people who do not have money to hire lawyers.

  15. This is such a travesty of justice. To be born in some places is a burden

I hope there is some legal recourse and a pro bono lawyer can take up his case. There should be charities for reintegrating folks who were in conflict with the law back into society and helping them find work and a home. This story is a sad sad tale.
