MONDAY IN HOUSE MEMO

I salute everybody Oooooooooh...........Holidays don start for this side and the holiday spirit is infectious.......I don already book somewhere..I cant announce it until we are back cos my hubby and the bambinos have warned me not to talk about anything that involves them on the blog...

They will even see this one sef and complain but its an explanation nau...Hahahahahhahahahahhahha.......I am counting my blessings and thanking God for today...What about you? 

Someone pranked me and is waiting for me to react not knowing i know its a prank ...I am just wondering how to react......Na wah.

Today is a good day.....

I read in that make up post about CERAVE product and i agree that it is awesome...........I know someone who uses it and you should see her skin.....I already had an appointment to go the shop today and was planning to cancel but i will give their body wash a trial especially as i itch slightly when i bath with cold water......The comment says cerave takes care of that......

I am on my lane doing my thing and so happy..If you are not doing what you love to do best or allowing anyones wickedness or negativity get to you, nah you sabi...They will read this now and be wondering if i am referring to dem.....LMAO!::.............

I dunno what to cook today abeg...hot weather and all...Maybe i should message my hubby that we should go out to eat....The Bambinos love this.......

I am teaching my Bambinos how to clean and be tidy and yesterday i realised that i did well cos my boy cleaned his apartment so well that i thought it was me that did it..He knew exactly what to do...I am so proud of myself....Please teach your kids how to clean ooooooooh........

Do you know why doctors tell you not to eat any solid food at least 6-8hrs before a surgery?

Here’s why.

Before any planned surgery where you’ll be put to sleep (general anesthesia) or even just sedated (partially sleepy), doctors don’t want you to eat or drink certain things for safety reasons.

1. No solid food or creamy/thick drinks (like milk, yogurt, ice cream, or coffee with cream) for at least 6 hours before surgery.

2. You can drink clear liquids (like water, Sprite, or apple juice without pulp or anything you can see through) for up to 2 hours before surgery.

Why this rule?

Now, whenever you eat or drink, your stomach makes acid and enzymes to digest it. If your stomach is full during surgery, there’s a risk that some of that food or liquid might come back up (reflux) and get into your lungs.  

Normally, your body protects itself with coughing or gagging, but under anesthesia or sedation, those reflexes are gone or weaker.

So, If your stomach’s contents enter the lungs, it can cause serious damage, swelling, or even a life-threatening condition called aspiration pneumonitis, which has a high risk of death in severe cases.

In summary:

You fast before surgery to keep your stomach empty and avoid dangerous complications like choking or lung injury.

What now happens if a person needs an emergency surgery you may ask?

In an emergency surgery, doctors don’t wait for the patient’s stomach to be empty, even though it’s normally safer. Instead, they take special precautions:

1. After giving the patient anesthesia (like propofol), someone presses on a spot in the neck (called the cricoid ring) to close off the food pipe. This helps prevent vomit from coming back up.

2. The anesthesiologist quickly places a breathing tube into the windpipe and inflates a small balloon (cuff) around it to seal off the airway. This keeps anything from going into the lungs.

3. After surgery, the breathing tube stays in place until the patient is fully awake and can cough properly. That way, if anything comes up, they can clear it themselves.

It may be uncomfortable and intense, but these steps are lifesaving in emergency situations.

So you see, it’s not that doctors want you to stay away from food for their pleasure…… it is basically to save your own life.

7 things to keep in mind if you have multiple romantic partners.

Don't go about spreading 'sweetie'abeg. (Sweetie is craw craw that scratches non stop) .

6. Emotional burnout is inevitable. Managing multiple relationships isn't just time consuming, it is also emotionally draining.
Sooner or later, the pressure to meet different needs and keep everyone satisfied will wear you down. Your pocket will cry as well.

7. While it might feel fun or empowering now, most people eventually want stability. If you burn too many bridges or hurt too many people, you might struggle to find someone who trusts you enough to build something real.
You may end up alone.
