In my mum's TM pictures my dad's immediate younger bro stood in for him, but their church wedding, you see my dad in suit and all with my mum

ReplyDeleteI pray this works out for them but this might easily go south. What if he uses the ring to tie her down for years? I imagine it wasn't possible for him to have flown over, engaged her and returned. Why? Distance? That's acceptable but not enough. If it mattered, he'd have saved up to afford the flight so why didn't he? His financial position wasn't in order? Is he just buying time?
Whatever happened to flying her over there to engage in person? Obviously not something he could afford at the moment. So this is what it is. Until his financial position improves, no wedding will be held and even if a wedding is eventually held, she might not be joining him soon.
In all, this is a major gamble she has taken with the only currency she has, time. She can't move on with a ring on her finger.
