Actress Adesua Etomi shared an emotional account of a near-death experience she had in June 2025 while in the UK with her husband, Banky W, and their two sons.
She said that they had travelled for two speaking engagements, when she faced a medical emergency that led to an unplanned surgery. She described the incident as life-threatening
“I could have lost my life in June of this year. The surgery was ironically the least dramatic part of what I went through.”
She also emphasized that the experience deepened her faith in God
“Like a map, I can literally look back over that day and trace how His hands were all over that situation. There is nothing anyone can tell me , God is real.”
She says people should live with more kindness and gratitude:
“Let’s be softer, kinder, gentler, forgiving, patient, loving, and peaceful. I will never take another day for granted. Neither should you.”
