Grammy award winning American singer Ciara is currently in Lagos, Nigeria as part of a cultural and fashion tour.
She was spotted at Balogun Market on Thursday with a large crowd behind her as she went from shop to shop admiring the rich fabric and the positive atmosphere.
She is seen in several viral videos interacting with traders, posing for photos, and just behaving like a Lagosian.
She reportedly said “No more dirty roads,Lagos is all clean now!”

Ciara Baby Wellcome To Lagos ooπ«
Hello iya Boys
She has to come to Africa to be treated as a celebrity because in America they no send her. Africans, smh, as soon as they see akata or white person they act like they have never seen a human being before. Low self esteem people.
ReplyDeleteShe's also a star in America . Give honour to whom it is due. Your comment reekes of envy Nigerians are generally friendly and accommodating people.
DeleteAs for me, any time I see a celebrity I like, if I can; I approach them & celebrate them. They make our lives more colourful.
Stop the hate & jealousy. Drink some honey
What are you saying
DeleteCiara is doing well na
Nigerians treat Nigerian celebrities as celebrities whenever they see them.
DeleteThey chant, they praise, they follow.
So what are you on about?
08:48 and 09:21 you are both partially right.
DeleteI like Ciara.
However, most Nigerians fawn over 'anything' foreign, rich or famous and they are also accommodating BUT become big HYPOCRITES and TRIBAL/RELIGIOUS BIGOTS during elections, use quota system to favour one tribe/region over others . IT STINKS! π·
Nigerians refuse to develop and promote their own brands as well.
This is beautiful π

ReplyDeleteMariam.
Skinnnnnnπ₯π₯π₯
ReplyDeleteThe money spent on getting her here can never be recovered. Nigerians from a certain generation onwards are done for.
ReplyDeleteI don’t see Ciara as a cultural artiste. India Arie or drama loving Eryka Badu gives cultural artiste. But she was invited and accepted. Nigerian money is legit and there are Naija artistes with more international fame and amazing catalogs than hers.
DeleteI thought of this immediately I saw the headline
DeleteAnon 11.56, her husband is worth 200 million dollars, and on top of that she’s worth 20 million dollars. How much dem go use tempt am to come Naija wey go shake am? Some of una go just open mouth waaaa
DeleteHappy girl, looking beautiful but her face is kind of different or maybe I don't really know her face.
ReplyDeleteShe looks well but the photos are just cringe. Did she at least support some of these merchants and make a big sale?
